Really friendly family (and Alec and the volunteers too). Such a great friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You are free to choose whether you want to do nothing or do some of the activities on offer with the family. We did the jungle trek to the waterfall which was breathtaking (you'll be walking up the river so your shoes will be wet! ) The dinner is cheap and filling, proper local Laos food — Mosquito is a genius chef. The rooms are wooden huts with a private shower, and balcony fit with hammocks overlooking the river. This place is paradise. You will stay here longer than you planned.
