What a wonderful bed and breakfast. As other mentioned no TV and Safe in room but who needs a TV with excellent Wi-Fi they have here. I came in on the overnight bus from Vientiane where I shared a bed with another Laos man (get your mind out of the gutter—his friends had a good laugh at his luck bunking with the farang). Arriving at 6 AM and nothing is opened in Savannakhet but I found there Facebook page after wandering the streets and fighting packs of dogs. Nothing makes you feel like man than being laughed at by a couple little old Laos women as your being chased by a pack of dogs. They responded within a couple minutes on Messenger and told me they had a room and even offered to come pick me up on motorbike but at this point I was already walking there and decided to run by the dogs again. The house is lovely, the rooms spotless, the shower is my favorite part, and the air con is cold. Loving this room and can’t say enough nice things about it.

Wothout a doubt Vanpila will be highly recommended to whomever would love to visit Savannakhet — Laos.
My stay at Vanpila was excellent. The Room and everywhere else was extremely clean.
Staff was very welcoming and extremely helpful.
The atmosphere was relaxing and had a western touch merging into Lao Culture.
Advices and information were excellent for what to do, what to see and where to go.
