What a beautiful place, simply outstanding, the Spring River Resort with its unique location in front of Laos biggest Blue Lagoon.
The resort is managed by Thomas and his wife Vicky, both being so kind and lovely to us.
We enjoy it so much, that we decided to stay another day
Last but not least, the food (Asian and Western) is very delicious. One of the very few places still fully functional

Great food and service in a beautiful location. The pasta with chicken and mushrooms was delicious and just what I needed after a day cycling. Spring River Resort is THE place to stay when visiting Konglor Cave and the surrounding area.

A favourite spot in Laos highly recommended. Awesome hospitality, food and location. Sorry we hadn't found this fantastic spot years ago.

Best place to stay in the region! Beautiful lux cabins in the river. Super amazing staff. Vicky is the BEST! Great atmosphere. Delicious food. They even made a cake for my husband’s birthday with candles they had to get from hours away.

They turn off the lights as there are night flies. For 15 minutes but its to give you the opportunity to eat in the dark. bring a small LED torch light Food is simple and devine.

Mystical beauty surrounds the largest fresh water lagoon of Lao — what a wonderful spot for this hidden gem. Spring River Resort is as fabulous as its environment. A truely beautiful place inside out to spent your holidays. Remote, reinvigorating, timeless. Food & service is just as fantastic as the setting itself.

An amazing place to stay! The price of the food is a little bit high but the staff, the view and the bungalow are very very good! Only 15 dollars for one night!

Beautiful resort. I stayed in the $15 bungalow with garden view. So beautiful! And the restaurant had the best food I have eaten in Laos so far! Highly highly recommend.

I didn't expect to find a decent accomodation near Kong Lor cave. But I found a gem in the jungle! Simply great in every sence: atmosphere, staff, location, food, bungalows. Wish I stayed longer. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic place. Location in the mountains above the river is ideal. Quiet, calm, green and beautiful. Delicious food, fresh and varied. Staff very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend :)

Best location, a beautiful patch of earth. With clear spring water lagoon. Catering extraordinarily with Swiss quality and owner. Price performance unsurpassable in Laos. Food according to European standards. Zb. Pasta as in Italy. Those who do not go are to blame themselves.

An absolutely top notch piece of paradise near Kong Lor caves in Laos. Riverfront bungalow was beautiful. Restaurant had delicious food and wonderful breakfasts. The owners were amazing and very professional. Setting was superb and the little village next door was the icing on the cake! Highly recommend.

The location is spectacular! Warm but also professional welcome. The rooms are well kept and the common facilities are spotlessly clean. Excellent solution for a cheap accommodation.

It‘s a beautiful resort! Just a piece of paradise. Go there, you don’t will regret. And you can easily walk to the Kong Lor. Vicky is a wonderful owner!

There's a reason this place has nothing but 5 star reviews. It absolutely exceeded our expectations and reigns supreme as our favorite accommodation in Laos. The resort is beautiful, secluded, and surrounded by nature. The bungalows are simple and very close to each other (you can hear your neighbors talking), but very clean. We tried 90% of the food in their menu and not only was is fantastic, but very reasonably priced. The best part of staying here is the passion behind the owner, Vicky. This woman works so unbelievably hard to make sure each guest is enjoying their stay. Anything you need, Vicky will help you get, with a smile on her face. Also, they help the surrounding villages by arranging boat tours with locals and employing the villagers. I can't recommend this place enough!

The best place in Laos, nothing comes close! We have come to the Kong Lor area as do most other people — to see the cave. We were supposed to stay 1 night. When we arrived to the resort, saw this place, tasted the food and spoke with the owner — who goes above and beyond every single time, we have extended our stay to the longest we could — 4 nights. In all honesty, if it was not for other arrangements, we would have probably stayed a week. The bungalows are nice and clean, room service is provided on a daily basis, fresh towels, shampoo and soap are given, as well as bottled water. The food in the resort restaurant is reasonably priced and really tasty (we have tried most of the menu during our stay). The staff — be it the room service/cleaning staff, kitchen or maintenance — provide great service, always with a smile and always there to help. Last but not least — the owner with whom we had the pleasure to talk with on numerous occassions — Vicky — she is absolutely amazing, always focused on providing the best quality service for her guests, always eager to help and chat. 100% recommended!

Had a wonderful stay here. Supposed to only stay one night but extended our stay to two nights. The location is amazing and so relaxing. Vicky is so welcoming and extremely helpful. Anything you need Vicky will do her best for you. The food is good value, standard Laos prices and bigger portion sizes.

This is a tranquil beautiful place on the outskirts of a traditional Laos village with the Laos countryside life prominent around the area. Vicki the owner is so lovely as is all the staff who work here. The Bamboo bungalow with a garden view is so reasonable and the bathroom/showers outside were so clean (it was cheaper to stay here in a private room, than in a dorm in other parts of Laos, plus consider the location as a massive bonus here). The food is amazing — try the chicken burger. The blue lagoon we didn't get a chance to see, just accross the river that you can view from the restaurant and they have an awesome campfire after dark. We booked one night and didn't want to leave so stayed an extra! Thanks for a great stay and end to our Laos trip.

Wonderful! The staff was very kind and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a high attention to detail and you can tell they really cared about the place. Great views, delicious food and perfect atmosphere for relaxation.

Staff. Food environment and views make this one of my new favourite places to visit in lots. Will definitely visit again and have no problems recommending it to anyone. It's not as cheap as other local guest houses in the area, but then you getting so much more.

Great place to stay if you are visiting konglor cave. Have bicycle for rental and friendly staff. Love to visit again!

The location is very picturesque. Nice river to swim in and in the afternoon not too cold. Rooms basic and you can be quite away from toilet/shower block. Pricy by Laos standards but an experience to any visit to Laos.

Enjoy the paradise, hostess very friendly, rooms spotless, could give a breathtaking view, and excellent food with presentation very neat.

A must visit in laos. It has two types of rooms, the best with a terrace towards the river, very clean and beautiful. The restaurant is also noteworthy. Staff very welcoming and pleasant.

This is a gem of a place right on the river. Quiet with good staff and great food.

Wow! That place is amazing! Perfect bungalows to calm down after the loop. We paid more and took the upgrade for the room with private bathroom and view to the river and it was worth it! Food in the restaurant is also very good but quite expensive.

If you go to Kong Lor Cave stay there! They offer fantastic rooms with balcony and river view. You can swim in the fresh and clear water. Exactly what I was looking for in this heat. There is a selection of wines and the food is just amazing! The manager is so nice! She invited us to a BBQ with the employees. It was so much fun. The evening could not have been any better!  

Peace and quiet! And I want to pomeditirovat. PTS decent inexpensive beautiful kitchen! All suggest.
