Chato Hostel is clean, comfortable and conveniently located next door to Sanga Hostel and opposite Pakse Hotel, from its rooftop bar you can watch the amazing sunset during happy hours 5-6pm.

Such a nice hostel. The rooms have A/C, are very clean, curtain and a comfy matras. The ground floor is a very cute cafe and the girl at reception speaks great English.

Champa Palace Hotel is hands down the best place to stay in Pakse. From check-in to check-out, everything was outstanding.

The hotel is recently renovated, the rooms are clean, spacious and new. Good beds and pillows.

Take the elevator to the fifth floor. The balcony at the end of the hallway has an excellent view of the Mekong river. The river walkway is only 50 meters from the hotel door.

I spent a night at Pakse Mekong Hotel and found it to be a good value for the price. The room was average in size with basic amenities, suitable for a short stay.

Nicest guesthouse, very kind host, good place to rest with calm surroundings! Highly recommended ++++++++Stars.

I normally don't write reviews, but I had such a nice time at this hotel I feel the need to write one.

The hostel is pretty basic but cheap and you have everything you need.
Bikes for the pakse loop were in great condition and very new. Afterwards we booked a bus from pakse to thakek.

From the very first moment we arrived, we felt completely at home.

Overall a good experience. Probably the best upscale fix you can getout in the country area in Laos. Still, staff does not speak English, so service is difficult.

Brilliant, brilliant resort. Swimming pool and view is amazing, rooms are perfectly fine.
Breakfast is decent and the staff are friendly.

The rooms are good overall, with a kettle inside which is very convenient.
I had a room just with a fan and it was enough.

Ton and his family are very nice people. Have airconditioned and fan rooms available. They also have a little shop out front. There are restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

A very peaceful and quaint place to come and relax and just get back. There are two islands here that are joined together by a bridge. The opposite island has a small town. It has everything you need.

I stayed two nights, around 150 kips. I liked the place coz it is right front of the river, the room is basic but comfortable, the staff is also helpful.

Our room fronted onto the pool which was very nice. The room was extremely nice.

I gave this location a 5 star, as considering the location I think it is a very good place to stay. Don’t expect a 5 star resort, but it is a very good hotel, with very friendly service.

I didn't expect it because I came late at night and got the 4th floor, the price is 170, 000 kip, a 2-bed room with a water heater. The sound comes in because it's next to the road.

First home and best home for me in Pakse. Nothing to complain about. The rooms, breakfast place, service, money exchange shop, owners, staff everything top class! Laundry at the hotel.

The staff was very helpful. The bungalows are very basic, but clean, with a comfortable bed.

Perfect location, and the room is clean and nice for only 150K/night. The staff ladies are just awesome, we rented a bicycle there, and took our bus ticket to Pakse with them.

Had a very nice night in the floating bungalow on the Mekong. Manager was extremely helpful and breakfast was good. Room had fridge, bathroom, toiletries and coffee machine.

Overly a nice hotel. The room smelled mouldy, which can happen but also helped with good some good airing — as we did and should be done by the manger/staff. The cleaning can be more thorough.

Dorms are 110k KIP, curtains, light, one pillow, dorms on the second floor, when I was there it was pretty empty just walked in and got a bed for the night (September 2015). It’s close to everything.

Stayed here and it was the perfect accomodation in pakse. Extremely comfy beds.

DD Guest House is really a cosy place to stav in Paksé! I had a room with air con, fan, warm water, free Wi-Fi and everything was workung perfectly and was also very clean.

We had a warm welcome at the guesthouse, and we could leave our bags at the house until we checked in later. The room was a decent size and the bathroom was adequate too.

Location was great, room was clean. The bed and pillows were pretty hard and the shower water pressure was pretty terrible. You had to run around to get wet.

Great place on the island Dom Det. Owners are wonderful and helpful organizing excursions. Rooms are basic and functional. Good AC with a nice ceiling fan.

Stayed in the 8-bed dorm. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only downside is that there are no lockers in the room.

Lovely room with everything we needed including nice hammocks looking out over the river. Well run by a very friendly family and a short walk from lots of food options.

Went to Pakse for a weekend and booked this hotel. The most important thing is the sleep you get. This hotel has SOFT beds. Most beds in Asia are like sleeping on rocks. This hotel has good soft beds.

Cheap and clean guesthouse. We just walked in and asked for a room. Paid.
220 000k for a private room with two single beds.

The room is nice but make customer pay 80k kips to activate the ac is just not normal for me.

We stayed in one of the bungalows facing the river, which was very clean, quite big, and with functioning AC. All in all, pretty good value for money.
