A fantastic place to stay right on the river in Huay Xai. Watch the Mekong River flow past from the balcony or from a nearby restaurant balcony overlooking the water. Staff very friendly and we had the pick of the rooms! Room was clean, spacious and air-conditioned. The dock to access boats for transport down the mekong to Luang Prabang are right at the doorstep. Don't get the fast boats, they look super uncomfortable and unsafe, get the slow boat, a much more pleasant ride.
Close to the boats, nice view on the Mekong, very tidy rooms.
