Ibis Salmiya Hotel is highly recommended if you are seeking an excellent service, very clean and well — kept room with very good amenities, staffs are very friendly and accommodating. My wife and I were pleased with the general atmosphere of the hotel and enjoyed the stay as they make you feel welcomed. We appreciate Mr. Alaa for confirming our booking and made sure that our room is ready before our arrival. Thank you Mr. Ali, Mr. Louis and Ms. Barsha for very accommodating and smooth check in and even gave us welcome drinks. The Manager Mr. Waleed, who called us from our room just to make sure that everything was fine and checked if we need anything. Everyone is doing their work well and indeed a customer satisfaction guaranteed. It such a nice experience and great stay with these awesome people and superb service. Buffet breakfast was great and my wife really enjoyed the food. Chef Tarek came to our table to check if all is well. And upon check out, we even had the chance to meet Mr. Waleed and had a photo with the front office team, thank you Ms. Grace for the nice capture. Overall it was indeed superb, we definitely recommend this hotel as it’s not only for business yet you can call it your second home.

Sure Ibis would be my preferred lodging hotel on my next trip to Kuwait city. Fair hotel bill, very hygienic thanks to the unrelenting effort of Mr Faisar. Welcoming front desk Mr Akhil, provision of ancillary services for comfort. Restaurant always with appealing cuisine. So far I would say that it's the best.

Very good location. Friendly staff, free early checkin and free late checkout was offered on request. Walking distance to marina mall, fanar mall etc. Value for money, paid parking for less than a dollar per hour. Clean quiet and secured premises. Highly recommend!

Very convenient location for commute. The rooms are good and well maintained. The service desk is cordial and cooperative. The room service also good. The ambience is good. Car pick up and drop from Kuwait City airport. The breakfast is good simple with some/many indian option and delicious food. The Hotel is overall comfortable and not very costly option.

I stayed at this hotel for three days and three nights. Let me first say that the staff were extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Nothing was a problem for them. Although the room I stayed in was a little on the small side, it was clean and the bathroom was pristine. The air conditioning worked very well which was good as temperatures were reaching 47 degrees Celsius during the daytime. The food was excellent. The breakfast menu was first class and the lunch and evening menus were also very good. The quality of the food was very good. I read on some reviews that the furniture and decor looked worn and dated. I did not experience this. The furniture was of very good quality and in the lounge area the furniture was design furniture and very comfortable. I have stayed in four star hotels that were not as good as this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in Kuwait city.

Excellent for casual travellers. Rooms are little bit small but fine and clean, no electricity outlet near the bed for mobile and labtop. Nice staff. Gr8 food. Nice Wi-Fi. Amazing gulf view. In the center of Salmeya near to every thing esp Marina mall if want an amazing shopping and dining experience.

We had an excellent stay. Nice, helpful and friendly staff, good restaurant, good morning buffet. Would again return for a stay at this hotel. The staff named Barsha was very friendly and cooperating with us. Appreciated the way she treated us.

Being home away from home, IBIS made me feel at home, right from reception, room service to restaurant, every one treated me well and made me feel comfortable. All shops are in walk-able distance… location in prime location…

Enjoy breakfast or a cup of coffee on the beautiful deck with an incredible view of the gulf. Breakfast has many delicious choices including chef made omelets. All staff very friendly and attentive. Small rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Easy walk to the parks along the gulf. Would stay again.

Took 30 minutes to check in, tiny room like you are in Europe, the room I got came with in room door to the room next to me so you can hear regular conversation. Location is good. Not comfortable. Very friendly and responsive staff!

Great stay for short business trips, great location surrounded by shops, variety of restaurants, fast-food places and coffee shops. The rooms are tiny as any Ibis hotel but clean and tidy, the breakfast is decent as well.

I am still not able to understand the design of washroom. If you flash the toilet, the towels which are in-front of the toilet will be for sure sprayed by dirty water?! If I am careful, how about cleaning staffs?

International standard 3 stars hotel. Good for quick visits. The worst thing that finding a park in that area is not easy.

This hotel is wonderful. Helpful staff, very nice rooms. Lobby is cozy and the restaurant is amazing. Great views as well.

Budget hotel. Don't expect to find a shampoo or a body wash in the bathroom. If you need them bring them with you or call the reception and they will charge you for that.

Very small rooms and not as shown in website. We upgraded to the executive rooms which were twice the size of the standard rooms. The sea view rooms have just a tiny window that overlooks some roofs and a little bit of the sea not as what is on website were you would think it is a panoramic view windows. Those Windows were the ones in the street. The hotel is a good and lively area with lots of shops and resturants. The service of the hotel was not bad.

It is an Ibis so don't expect any luxury yet it is clean, neat and calm. Staff are friendly and the location is great, you have like everything around.

Nice location, clean but too small room just good for a person. No stop or parking for guests in hotel front. Guest with car should wander around looking for free open parking and walk to hotel. Don't forget to take your dental kits, shaving kits etc. You have to pay for it here.

A nice hotel in a trendy locations with lots of shopping centres and restaurants nearby. The suites are nice and spacious. Generally the service is good although I had to wait for over half an hour for my suite to be ready.

I've tried many of the hotels in Kuwait, including many of the 'exclusive' brands, but I keep coming back to the Ibis in Salmiya. The reason is simple: Louis, Mohammed and all the team treat me like an individual and truly look after every guest. When travelling on business it is lovely to find a home away from home.

Really great location with the best price you can find and breakfast is great with limited options but I love it the down side is the beds its not that comfortable.

Everything was good starting from the guys of the reception Aladin and Mohammed abed, very helpful they suggested me places to go and booked taxis etc etc very nice guys. Also the waiters from the restaurant were very nice to me especially the Asian girl. Clean and close to many services I suggest to every one to come here. I will come back fore sure.

A very good hotel right in the centre of salmiya. They even allow stay for half a day in reduced price. Came in handy to catch late evening flight!

You can not communicate with the waiters do not speak English.

Really great time was had here. We booked on the basis that it was about 50% of what some of the 5-star hotels down the road would have cost us for a quick, two-night stay. The rooms were clean if spartan. At the end of the day though, they seemed to have everything you might need. Also, the real winner for this hotel is its absolutely superb location. You are right next door to the Sultan Center for any grocery or retail needs, a couple of shopping malls with (admittedly pricey) fashion selections and some very good restaurants. As per my wife, "I would stay here again in a heartbeat" — but that's also possibly because we have family in Kuwait and were never at a loss for things to do outside of the hotel room. There are obviously better places to book if you plan to be indoors all the time, but this is great for a business stay or similar.

I stayed here while visiting my brother who works in Kuwait. This is a really friendly place. I will stay here again when I visit again my brother. Breakfast was good enough. In a very dry Kuwait, ibis was green enough place for me. Thank you ibis staff.

Nice and clean. Reasonable buffet breakfast. Very contemporary decorated and bold colored rooms. Though they might seem smallish in size to some, it suited me fine. Efficient staff.

Clean, elegant, reception is very Good, room and bathroom size are small only 17 m2 but tidy. GYM is very bad and small you can consider it doesn't exist. Location is good View is good also.

Rooms are small. I feel that rooms in this hotel are tight and fits to be in London city not in Kuwait. This is my first and last stay in this hotel.

Clean and well kept for a hotel in Kuwait. Rooms much smaller than in more 'Arab style' hotels. If you have a car BEWARE, the hotel has 175 rooms and EIGHT parking spaces! You can park in the basement of the building for. 250 KD per hour or $1. This is not Europe where public transport is great. Everyone has cars, but now where to park at Ibis Salmiya.

Very good hotel, everything I needed for my business trip, free and fast Wi-Fi anywhere in the hotel, good breakfast choices, comfortable rooms although a bit small, and most importantly a great location.

Good clean nice district 24/7 around but PARKING is only for few cars and they give you only one key card for couples.

Perfect for business purposes, and the location is the best you won't need to rent a car.

Hotel Bad 1 — There is no parking except at باهضة. 2 — There is no service and receive the inmate carry bags وينزلها himself, this is very bad. 3 — There is no free breakfast. 4 — so Allah so willed, God that is on the shoes of the water cycle. 5 — The only good location of the hotel is excellent near to tourist sites.

I've stayed there 2 times during Jan 2013. Good points: 1/ Room is compact, clean, and have all the standard features. 2/ I love being able to schedule wake-up calls using only the TV remote! 3/ The location is excellent. Lots of stores, cafes and food places right next to the hotel. There is even a cinema close by. 4/ Wi-Fi is available for free and the speed is good. Weird points: 1/ The hotel reception is on the 3rd floor! Bad points 1/ Fridge is totally empty except for one water bottle. It's a dry country after all. 2/ There is room service but you have to go down to the 3rd floor to pick up your order. There is no delivery to rooms. Unbelievable! Do I recommend this hotel? Yes.

I stayed three nights in this hotel and I really enjoyed it. The staff are very professional and very helpful. The food is good. Connection is free through Wi-Fi. PCs are available to use free in the café-restaurant.
