Our stay at Sleepway Cottages was quite pleasant overall. However, we were surprised and frustrated when we were asked to pay additional money upon departure, despite having a confirmed booking through Hostelworld. This unexpected request left a sour note on an otherwise enjoyable stay. We strongly suggest that Sleepway Cottages update their prices on Hostelworld to reflect accurate rates and avoid such inconveniences for future guests.

It was a nice experience, enjoyed my stay great and supportive staff.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sleepway Cottage in Nakuru. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect getaway. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring my experience was comfortable and enjoyable. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall charm of the place. I highly recommend Sleepway Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay in Nakuru!

All my wandering around Kenya, I really appreciated this place. Once through the gate there was a nice quiet courtyard w lots of greenery to make it feel peaceful. There’s an older gentleman (w the same same as my brother! ) who is very attentive and helpful. He made sure I had good bodabodas and seemed genuinely concerned that both my stay at Sleepaway and Nakuru was enjoyable. They ladies who run it were equally as genuine and helpful. Good Wi-Fi, great beds, mosquito nets and a decent bathroom.

Near perfect rating in all fronts! Perhaps the tiny lil downers are: not too many parking spaces should multiple guests have vehicles. The location is a bit hidden and signage not quite available. But who needs those when there's Google maps? 😄
Definitely a place to recommend for anyone looking for haven outside town. A must return!

A small quiet and peaceful place. No major restaurant but there's some kitchen for orders. Secure parking for about 3 cars inside and a few others on the outside left and right wings.
The bed was OK. Upgrade of beddings will do good.
Very spacious bathroom/toilet.
Rooms have working smart TV with stable Wi-Fi connectivity.
There's also a working table.

I had a peaceful three night stay and my experience was awesome. The staff at the kitchen were kind and welcoming. The Wi-Fi was ok and the shower was fantastic. Indeed it smelled morning in the morning. Looking forward to doing business with you again.

Highlights on the environment are peaceful and clean. Waking up to bird calls just makes it perfect.
Room deco are inspired by Kenya's artifact yet still comfy and modern.

This place is very good. My vocabulary and adjective game isn't 4 star but I will give sleepway 4 star. Clean and comfy rooms. They have a small couch and a study table for you to make sure you relax in a variety of ways. The environment is calm, welcoming and quiet. If you want a cool, nice, warm atmosphere to unwind from a work day, this is the place. The ladies at the kitchen are quite welcoming, friendly and professional. Very good place.

Mediocre sleeping quarters.

-Discoloured towel with a damp smell.
-old and inconsistent bed coverings.
-the bed was carelessly made. The under sheets were very bumpy had to get up stretch it out.
-tv in the room and no remote control.
-when it was raining, the bathrooms roof was leaking.
-the toilet bowl doesnt have a toilet seat.
-the shower has merely lukewarm water nothing any hotter.
The above have nothing to do with the money that I have but a good experience. Or do people with less money deserve trash services?

Nice. Compact. They didn't have much for breakfast though. I think I seemed a little bit high on the price in what they had to offer. Bathrooms had no pipe. No where to fill water from, but overall the staff was real nice. They tried to do their best. Location was pretty good. Place seemed kind of like from the Enid blyton books. Area was good. They just need to upgrade a bit in regards to the facilities they provide. Check in check out time wasn't too strict so that was good.
