Excellent budget inn close to the airport. Do bring mosquito repellent and earplugs for the nearby noisy mosque.

I just felt so at ease. The woman working there, 11/10, the kids, the cute, stupid, sweet little barking dog. The barbers, pharmacies, and café outside the gates.
The quick mart, the people I met.
Even the couple from Malaysia, who stayed outside the house, contributed to the vibe.
Everything just felt right. They gave me a better room inside the house because I was food poisoned and felt bad when I arrived. I didn't know the reason for them switching up my room at first.
Mary, I think that was her name, what a lovely person.
They let me be when I needed space and privacy, but were there if I needed anything. I had no lock to my room but never felt unsafe for myself or my stuff.
Don't expect luxury. This is not the Hilton's or whatever. This is humanity. I had a spiritual experience inside that house, literally. One day, I'm feeling weird because of the food poisoning mixed with being high off music. Maybe it was the activated charcoal I had to combat the illness, from the pharmacy? It makes no sense, I have no idea, but that's what happened. It was like being on mild shroo.
