Kitonga Garden Resort

Beautifully built, KGR is a masterpiece that needs to be 'whispered out aloud' more. Truly a gem. Pictures don't even do justice to the place. Very friendly stuff, s/o to Ancent and Mercilline for their exceptional service.
I also loved that there are so many activities to do whilst at the Resort.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this resort and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. From the moment we arrived, the staff stood out with their exceptional customer service warm, attentive, and always ready to help.
The food was outstanding, with generous portions and great variety. What impressed me most was the efficiency there was minimal waiting time, and everything was served fresh and delicious.
The resort offers a wide range of activities suitable for both adults and kids, such as zip lining, lazy river, swimming pool, live entertainments and kids playground making it a great choice for families as well as couples. The venue itself is stunning perfect for weddings, conferences, or any special event.
One of the highlights was the breathtaking view. Being located on a hill, the scenery is simply beautiful and adds to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The cleanliness of the entire property was also top-notch, which made the stay even more comfortable.
Overall, this resort exceeded my expectations in every way. I will definitely be coming back!

We recently visited this resort and here’s a breakdown of our experience:
1. Getting there:
The road is generally okay, except for a few sections with potholes. If using Kangundo Road, note that Google Maps may suggest a right turn onto a narrow, quiet road that can be difficult to navigate; especially for low-clearance cars. It’s best to confirm directions with the resort; using A3 is a better and faster alternative.
2. Arrival:
The team was kind and welcoming from the gate all the way to the staff who escorted us to our room.
3. Location & ambiance:
The resort is quiet, green, and clean, with beautiful views. It offers a refreshing break from the city’s busyness.
4. Food setup:
We visited during national holiday, and all meals were served buffet-style. There were no snacks or à la carte options—only drinks—which was a bit disappointing, as it meant waiting for standard meal times to eat.
5. Food variety & service:
The buffet variety was limited, and the food was not always served hot. The fish could have used more seasoning. When we went for dinner around 8:30 PM, some items (like rice) seemed to be running out and were already drying. Dessert was unavailable, and all we got was a little fruit salad.
We also had to request drinks (even though they were included in our meal package), find our own table after waiting for clearing, and wait for cutlery to be replaced. This is an area where the service team could improve.
