One of the best spot to do safari with Masaï guides. The park is amazing and if you are lucky you can see the big five in their original environment. The camp is an eco camp with limited impact on the nature and if you are lucky you can have the Obama Tent which has a view on the river. Very quiet place and very Nice staf who make you feeling at home. I recommend this place to do Safari in Masaï Mara.

Tent rooms located within a forest just outside of the National Park. There is a wooden platform where you can observe animals passing around in the Savannah. Different from other lodges, there is no buffet but kind of cooked and served. You have to ask them what is served for each meal and let them know your allergies and so on. To be honest, as guests are worldwide having various of food culture, buffet is better choice to suit more. I didn’t enjoy the meal here. Little choices. One of the waiters there could not explain the menu properly (For language reason I guess), so the pasta could not be the pasta you expected. Communication is poor, as the reception asked me my food allergy however I still got the thing. Path to the rooms could have been paved. The armchair in the room could have been better cleaned. The the rest is ok.

Eco lodge with amazing food. The Masaii guides are top notch. Really wonderful accommodations and shouldn't deter travelers worried about tents. More like "glamping". Staff was really friendly and accomodating.

I would return without thinking, a beautiful camp with a half tent half a cabin, inside a small forest or jungle and bordering both the River Talek and the savannah, the very good food, the wonderful workers, the place is film and very close to a d e the entrances to the park. Although you barely see bugs at first sight, it is advisable to look at the entire room for security, in our case we found a couple, nothing that the good people of the hotel do not fix quickly. From both the room and the dining room, beautiful views enlivened by lots of animals. As a curiosity, The (ex) president of the USA Obama stayed here on his stay in Masaimara. The pity, as in almost all of Kenya,,, the horrible amount of plastic you find in nearby villages,,, that is,,, parks and hotels without a plastic on the floor.

Excellent service, very good tents, staff accompanies you to go to the room or lobby. Very good food. Wi Fi only in the lobby. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this location as a base of safari operations. For Kenya it has good food, the staff is great, the accommodations lovely and the location fantastic.

I stayed in a large tent here. It needs to be zipped closed at night so that baboons do not get in. One needs to kneel to be able to lock the tent as advised. There is a shower and toilet and running water, hot and cold. Place is very scenic. There is a restaurant and bar.

It's an awesome place. It's in the middle of nowhere, just surrounded by nature. The rooms are tents. If you like nature in pure state it is highly recommended. You can hear a lot of animals and see some. It has beautiful corners and is separated from all kinds of animals by a river. The masses are in charge of watching the area all night and accompanying you to your shop. They give a lot of security, they are super attentive and they are very friendly. The food is very good, they serve you the unique menu that they prepare and it is very well cooked. It is also worth dining outdoors under the stars listening to animal noises. It cannot be described with words or photos. It's spectacular.

Beautiful tented lodge at the border of the Masai Mara. We stayed here for 3 nights and we were very positively surprised by the sleeping arrangement, the great staff and the excellent food. At cold nights they even put a hot water bottle in your bed to keep you warm during the night. The staff is very friendly and has some great stories to tell. Food was excellent and many times we were surprised how they made this in their small kitchen. The rooms a large and have two showers one outside and one inside, the tents are very clean and we had no trouble with insects or what so ever. Would highly recommend to stay here (even Obama did when he was still a Senator).
