Serenity, not crowded and Ruth is passionate how she runs the place…

We really enjoyed our short stay here, clean rooms, ample space in the cottages for the kids, cleanest of pools, very helpful staff and not forgetting the host (Ruth) checking in to make sure if everything is okay. Definitely coming back.

Our host was a delight. Great with directions from town to Eden House and her staff were prepared to receive us. You can tell great host from how the staff handle you. We had a beautiful time, thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool and the accommodation was impeccable. A 5 minute walk from the beach led us to a great photo session. … It was the best holiday.

I would not advise anyone to stay here, this is from an experience that made us almost call the police. We checked in our little sister at the cottages for her birthday, just to relax and enjoy the coastal town, only for a bunch of 8 (four male. 4 female) guests to check in next to her and start harassing her while intoxicated. They pushed her into the swimming pool and one even burnt her with a cigarette lighter. The worst bit is that the owner, her name is Ruth, condoned this just because the guest were regulars. What Kind of ethics is that from a hotel owner?! What if something worse had happened to her?

The place is well maintained and loved its proximity to the beach — I stayed there three days 2 nights and I tell you the place is exceptionally good. Ruth, the owner, is very professional and welcoming. She ensured everything was okay during our stay. I definately recommend this facility especially for families and friends who wish to have a getaway in Malindi.

Large spacious rooms, well equipped especially the kitchen, clean and well maintained swimming pool and swimming is allowed well into the night. House is situated in a quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes walk to the beach.

Me and my wifey were there over the weekend and loved it, such a quiet place and hospitable staff. Loved the pool and the owner (Ruth) is so welcoming and always on call in case of anything. I recommend this to anyone who world love a beautiful holiday in Malindi. Best place I have visited so far.

Its a home away from home, near town and other social amenities but also far enough to give you your peace.

Eden House is a very quiet place. Good rooms and all near a big pool. Even though it's not at the beach side you can walk there in 5-10 min. Take a Tuk-tuk into town. The owner Roberto stay with his family in the compound and is always available.
