The hostel left a very pleasant impression. The rooms were clean and cozy, giving a comfortable, homely feeling. The staff was always ready to help and support in any matter. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the common areas were comfortable for relaxing and socializing with other guests. The hostel's location is also very convenient, allowing easy access to key attractions. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay in the city and I would happily recommend it to other travelers.

Echoing what others said about this not really being a place to socialize. Unless you speak fluent russian or kazakh the guests will ignore you. Which I guess is to be expected when you house more locals than travelers, but don't call it a hostel or a guesthouse, when it's really room rentals. Despite all of this I did meet a good friend there. But the rooms were quite crowded, smelly, and the locals do not exhibit much courtesy with alarms, turning on the lights, or closing the door quietly during late or early hours.
