Glamping Apple Resort

I do not recommend. We rented 2 standard houses for 2 families on 30-31.08.25.
Pros:
1. Close to Almaty, about half an hour drive.
2. Good view of the hills.
3. Apple and pear trees on the territory.
4. Great place for a fire.
5. Delicious coffee and a good breakfast.
6. Gramophone in one of the rooms.
7. Friendly staff in general.
Cons:
1. There is a very strong smell of sewage in the bathrooms of both houses (4, 5 rooms)
2. There is no place for a barbecue: they install it right next to the porch, which makes it difficult to walk. There is no lighting near the porch, which makes it difficult to cook.
3. The paths between the houses are not very well thought out, either you need to go around 30 m far, or walk along a slope of 5 m, where there is already a path, but for some reason they did not make steps.
4. Mold in the bathrooms.
5. The view is greatly spoiled by the exposed utility lines and construction defects under the houses, which are built on stilts.
6. The paths on the grounds are poorly maintained and broken, either unfinished or already broken and in need of repair.
7. Slow waiters in the cafe.
8. Doors either don't close properly or creak.
9. We paid an extra 5, 000 for a child in a room, but they didn't provide anything: no bed linens, no towels.

Horrible hotel, all the rooms are smoky and drunk, all shabby, the cleaning in the room is just awful, hair everywhere, the bed linen is washed and overwashed, the restaurant and terrace are terribly dirty, as they say, expectation and reality. We booked there once, we will never set foot there again, it is just awful.

Breakfasts are quite normal. But there is almost no choice: porridge or eggs in some form, yogurt, juice, coffee.
The hotel is located on a mountain, behind the summer cottage areas. Far from everything. The distances that are indicated are probably in a straight line by helicopter :) You can get to the hotel ONLY by car. Go somewhere — too. There is nothing nearby to walk around. Only a car or sit in a house. The road is narrow, broken, with a big slope. If there is mud or snow — not every car will drive there. Not all taxis will go there, as the locals told us.
The glamping area is very untidy. Construction waste, broken equipment and just dirt are everywhere.
The idea and design of the houses are not bad. But the implementation is just terrible. The repairs in the houses were done in violation of all technologies. We had a house with two rooms, each with its own bathroom and shower. The water from the shower flowed into the room, flowed under the tiles in the toilet and under the floor in the bedroom, and then splashed out from there with some black dirt, apparently mold and fungus. In general, everything was done very sloppily, slapdash. Moreover, it was obvious that it was done recently, but so poorly that it was already falling off and peeling. The power and water (in general) were turned off. The house was full of ants.
There was a minimum of staff, the administrator was the only one responsible for everyone (and he really tried).

Nearby, respectively, there is nothing within walking distance. You either sit in your room, or a taxi, or a rented car.
There is nothing on the territory and the territory itself is very untidy. Garbage, dirt, broken equipment, building materials. The appearance of the houses also leaves much to be desired, everything is done sloppily, polyurethane foam sticks out of all the cracks, polystyrene foam is not covered with anything as insulation of the floors, apparently in the houses. You can carefully clean everything and cover it up.
In the house that we rented (for 4 people, with two bedrooms and bathrooms), the finishing is disgusting, with violation of all technologies. The water from the shower was pouring into the room, flowing under the tiles in the bathroom and under the floor in the bedroom. Naturally, all of this then comes off and splashes, mold and God knows what else accumulates under the covering.
Moreover, it is obvious that the renovation was done recently, but so poorly that the paint is already peeling, the baseboards are falling off. Everything is sloppy, slapdash.

If you're looking for a tranquil getaway amidst breathtaking winter scenery, I can't recommend this remote cabin stay in the Kazakh hills enough. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of peace and quiet, a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The location itself is simply stunning. Picture this: snow-covered hills stretching as far as the eye can see, waking up to these views every morning was an absolute treat. The remoteness adds to the charm; you truly feel like you've escaped to your own little world.
While the location is secluded, the cabin itself was surprisingly modern and well-appointed. Everything was clean, and the room had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay including slippers and robes. It was the perfect place to warm up after a day exploring the snowy surroundings.
What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything I needed. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch. This cabin stay exceeded my expectations. It was the perfect blend of natural beauty, modern comfort, and warm hospitality. If you're looking for a peaceful escape in a winter wonderland, I highly recommend this hidden gem in the Kazakh hills. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, with memories that will last a lifetime. I can't wait to return one day!

I recently stayed at this beautiful resort in the snowy mountains, and it was an incredible experience. The setting is absolutely stunning. The resort was peaceful and quiet during my stay, which made for a wonderfully serene atmosphere.
That being said, I can definitely see this place turning into a lively, vibrant destination once it becomes more popular. The amenities and facilities have so much potential to attract more guests. The staff have been absolutely great and have looked after us really well!
Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, this place has the perfect combination of both, and I’ll be excited to see it grow in the future.

We had the most fun stay at this new mountain resort in Kazakhstan! Tucked away in a truly remote location, it’s the perfect place to enjoy the mountains and fresh air!
Since it’s still new, the resort is very quiet, but that only added to the charm. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their kindness made our stay even more special. While it’s still developing, you can already see its incredible potential, and I have no doubt it will become a top destination in the future.
If you’re looking for a unique retreat with amazing scenery and warm hospitality, this is the place to be! Can’t wait to see how it evolves!

The pre-New Year mood turned into a nightmare before Christmas.
When we booked a cottage with a sauna two weeks before arrival, we expected a cozy vacation. But the reality turned into a complete disappointment.
The day before arrival, it turned out that there would be no sauna. We were offered compensation: dinner or a refund. Okay, not critical.
On site, we were met with a demand for a cash deposit or to hand over an ID (which is illegal). When we asked about compensation for the sauna, the administrator said with a grin that "they don't owe us anything. "
The cottage turned out to be unprepared. The path was buried in snowdrifts, and it was hot inside. The amenities included a dirty glass, two tea bags, a kettle, bottled water, and a second glass were missing. The promised Netflix did not work.
In the bathroom, there was a half-used tube of gel among disposable hygiene products. The administrator kept leaving, promising to fix and adjust everything. When we insisted that she stay, we heard that she had "other houses, they need to be prepared. " And our house apparently does not need to be prepared.
The restaurant was empty: no waiters, no cooks, half the menu was missing, there was no alcohol, although there was a bar list. The promised garlands were supposed to light up at 8 pm, but by 10 the territory and the balcony were still in darkness.
My nerves gave out. I asked for a refund so that we could leave.
