We arrived at the hostel recommended by Yandex Maps.
The website listed the price as 2, 000 tenge per bed. When we paid, the manager said it was 4, 000 tenge, not 2, 000 tenge. We told her the website price was different. The manager said it wasn't. We thought about it, but because we were tired and cold, we stayed and went straight to bed. The window was open, and we were cold. When we closed it in the morning, the manager came in and opened it, even though it was raining and cold outside.
Why she would go into the men's room is unclear. Clients could catch a cold and get sick.
There was dirt everywhere, and the toilet was in poor condition. The bedding was rumpled.
As soon as midday arrived, we immediately moved to a decent hotel in the same area.

Hello. I found a hostel based on Instagram searches and came across this one. Everything seemed fine. But in reality… I was disappointed.
Among the downsides, I can say this:
— It's dirty, even though you can't wear shoes; they ask you to take them off at the entrance (the administrator mops the floors every day, but it's hardly a wash. Just a quick mop and that's it). My new socks are just black and dirty overnight! It's like I'd been wearing them on the road. The restroom is the same: hair everywhere and the toilet paper bin is full.
— The prices seem to vary everywhere. Instagram says 2700-3500 rubles per night, but on WhatsApp they said 3500-4000 rubles. We paid 3000 rubles. It's strange.
— Stairs. We didn't expect the hostel to be located like this. I was in a wheelchair, and it was impossible to climb them. But I could stand up on crutches, and that's very dangerous. It's a very steep climb, and I don't think I could have done it without help. People carried me up.
Pros:

+ ​​Friendly hosts.
+ Good location, everything we needed was nearby.
Conclusion: I'm not particularly squeamish and can adapt to any environment, so the hostel is suitable for the same. 37, 000 tenge per month is pretty cheap. There are shared dishes, a microwave, a kettle, an ironing board, and a refrigerator.

Even if the administrator will press you for all you prospective days paid (and she will), because suddenly you change plans you will not return the money how much would you pay. And most importantly (! ), not pre-warned about this. Administrator with a sly look will declare that there is no money.
