Rainbow Camp

I had an unforgettable stay at this Wadi Rum camp. The location in the heart of the reserve is breathtaking, perfect for peaceful stargazing. Abu Rashid, Suliman, and Mohammad were warm and welcoming, making me feel at home. The food was delicious and clean, and the jeep tour offered a safe yet adventurous way to explore the desert. This camp truly combines hospitality, natural beauty, and authentic desert experiences.

I had an unforgettable experience with my friends at this camp in Wadi Rum. The service was far beyond my expectations, with every detail taken care of in the warmest way. The location is truly breathtaking—right in the heart of the Wadi Rum reserve, where the silence of the desert creates the perfect atmosphere for peaceful stargazing under a sky full of stars. The owner, Abu Rashid, along with Suliman and his son Mohammad, were incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel at home throughout my stay. The food was not only delicious but also very clean and well-prepared, adding to the overall comfort of the experience. The jeep tour was another highlight, allowing me to explore the stunning desert landscapes in an adventurous yet safe way. Overall, this camp offers the perfect mix of hospitality, natural beauty, and authentic desert experiences.

We stayed here with Experience Jordan trek guides, the experience arriving at Wadi Rum was magical, we were picked up at the gates by the Bedouin family in jeeps and we enjoyed the sunset drive through Wadi Rum to the camp. We were welcomed with a traditional dinner cooked under the sand on coals in a big pot the food was absolutely amazing so delicious and we felt so welcome thank you so much it was a wonderful experience 🌅 we also enjoyed a sunrise hot air balloon ride with Balloons Over Rum which was also amazing highly recommend.

There are lots of places to stay but we were very happy to stay here. Clean rooms great showers and communal area was just right. Great food and lots of it. They organised trips out and watched the sunset from their rock location above the hotel.

What a great experience! Beautiful views, comfortable rooms with plenty of blankets, and of course very clean bathrooms. And the dinner cooked under ground was fantastic! Definitely worth the trip!

A beautiful camp under the stars. Sundown was stunning watching the colours of the rocks change around you. After sunset Dinner was served. It had been cooking under ground and served with ample salad options, veg, potatoes, rice. Lots of food!
Very nice modern toilet/ shower block.
Lots of seating undercover, outside dining, recreational area where there's charging stations, Wi-Fi, nice to chat to the locals and visitors. Really was a snap shot of paradise, shame we only had one night there before moving on again.

This was the BEST place we stayed in Jordan. We just did 8 days in this powerhouse of a destination — so much packed into a small country. Wadi Rum was the most impressive by far — the red and white deserts, the petroglyphs, everything — and Rainbow camp rocked it. They have the best view — you can sleep on a plateau under the stars — the bathrooms are all tile with hot water, the foods amazing, the driving tours well curated, and the staff like old friends. Highly recommend.

It is what's promising to be. Friendly campsite with simple but clean accommodation. Hot water in the showers. Wonderful surroundings. Delicious food. Good, flexible and fast dealing with the owner. Our favourite place in Wadi Rum, visited several times, keeping the same high standard.

I had an amazing time staying at the Rainbow Camp. Considering that it is in the middle of the desert, the place is luxurious. The location is amazing if you have interest in the local hikes. Highly recommended.

Very nice setting. Small houses nicely decorated, shared bathroom Excellent food, friendly staff, a nice way to experience tge Wadi Rum. Sunset walk, amazing star watching and camel walk organized for sunrise! Food cooked with traditional methods, sage tea, good facilities.

A comfortable room, though without TV and refrigerator — and not being told beforehand was not professional. A wonderful venue. Staff could've been more helpful and more training dealing with people would go a long way!

Excellent 2 nights stay at Rainbow camp with our kid and our friends. This looked by far like the loveliest camp. It's well sheltered between two rocks with trees and flowers and a large communal tent and resting area. The result is a cozy, and welcoming setting. I was impressed by the clean bathrooms. Suleiman and Ali are wonderful hosts. We ate like kings: delicious home-cooked meals cooked in the typical Bedouin way. His son, Ali, took us on full day tour of the desert and cooked us a very tasty lunch. We also did a serene sunrise camel ride. Definitely recommend.

My friend has been to three camps in Wadi Rum and said this is the best. Amazing views and a spectacular stay.
Accomodations are somewhere between homey and spartan, the staff is incredibly kind, and the food is delicious! You should absolutely stay here in Wadi Rum.

The rainbow camp was unbelievable! The facilities are perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The experience of sitting around the fire and watching dinner be made was so enjoyable. The rainbow camp is in a perfect position to experience the desert without being far from your tent! The entire team of people at the camp were so friendly, kind and welcoming. Our biggest regret was not staying for two nights! Definitely on my list to go back and I won’t stay anywhere else other than the rainbow camp!

The people working here are kind, friendly, funny, and caring.
The food was well prepared. The rooms were clean. The water closets were cleaned multiple times during our single night stay.
Stay here. There won't be any regrets if you are in the Wadi Rum.
