Wadi Rum Campgrounds

Stayed for 8 nights on our climbing trip to Wadi Rum. Hamdan’s property is great — comfortable and clean tents with a small heater, and plenty of room for all of our kit. The included delicious breakfast and evening meal makes it very good value (and they cater for vegetarians). Hamdan is very accommodating and helpful, organising transport and a jeep tour with a personal, family touch on our rest day.

The camp is very clean, from the rooms to the bathroom. Hamdan the owner of the camp is very welcoming and is keen to help with anything you would need. Also the camp is very close to jabal Rum so it’s easy to walk up to it and climb.

It is what's promising to be. Friendly campsite with simple but clean accommodation. Hot water in the showers. Wonderful surroundings. Delicious food. Good, flexible and fast dealing with the owner. Our favourite place in Wadi Rum, visited several times, keeping the same high standard.

I had an amazing time staying at the Rainbow Camp. Considering that it is in the middle of the desert, the place is luxurious. The location is amazing if you have interest in the local hikes. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 2 nights at Mohammed Mutlak Camp and it was a great experience. The first day we did a jeep tour and saw some interesting sights and ate a very nice lunch outdoors, followed by sunset at the camp and a nice dinner. The second day we did some trekking and later slept under the stars.

We stayed at Mohamed Mutlak Camp for 3 days in May 2023 and had booked a two days desert tour.
The first day we were driven through the desert in a jeep and saw countless special places (be aware there will be other tours as well, you will always have company near the highlights). We then spent the first evening in camp. The tent was simple, but very clean and authentic.

Truly one of the most extraordinary experiences within this camp and with the people from from this company.
We took the sunset jeep tour with the most lovely man who was very kind to us and helpful and patiently waiting at us at every stop. The Wadi rum itself is just breathless.
Later in the camp we had a lovely chat with the owner and the staff and all of them were so nice and served us very good local beduine-style dinner along with tea and sisha.

I had one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life in the Wadi Rum desert. Thanks to Wadi Rum Desert Adventures, my friends and I had the opportunity to explore the area in an authentic way for a few days. The camp's location is extraordinary - it's far from other campsites, which allows you to stargaze during the night and witness breathtaking sunsets in a short distance.

Wonderfull & nice place to stay. Stargazing really amazing, should bring DSLR camera. Very recommended place to stay.

Start with the good: The location is stunning. The tents — traditional and bubble — are well furnished and comfortable. Definitely stay at least one night in a bubble tent, because the view of the stars was amazing. We saw about a dozen falling stars. They're also nicer than expected. There's an AC unit and the bathroom was pretty large and well laid out. The food is pretty good, especially the hot lunch and dinner buffet (the breakfast could use better coffee).

Wadi Rum is a beautiful location and Dream Camp is well situated within it. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Our ‘tent’ was fabulous with panoramic view, comfortable double bed, AC, toilet and shower. We went on a 4x4 excursion which was great and allowed us to see more of the glorious Wadi Rum desert.

This Bedouin Camp in Wadi Rum is wonderful. The cabin style rooms are well equipped and comfortable, but the best thing is the view from the large picture window. It's beautiful, and it's so dark at night that the moon and the stars are dazzling. The hospitality is good, with tasty meals for breakfast and dinner. The fire pit is a great place to sit and chat with fellow visitors. A great location to base yourself if you're visiting Wadi Rum.

One of the best experience in Jordan: sleeping in the desert! Of course, rooms aren't full of services (bathroom is outside and not so clean), but I would choose it againg and again. Wonderful experience!

Fantastic place! Aouda was awesome! Everyone was very hospitable. Clean rooms, great food, amazing views. We loved our visit. We had so much fun. Thank you for everything!

Great Place, Great people and food, perfect Shisha — Argile, Good bathroom and toilet according to the place, The silence in the tents was magical.

Extra luxury! Tents with queen bed! Bathroom super, more than tents, basically a camping!
