Azraq Lodge is very clean and the staff is welcoming, but honestly the value for money is not great, especially when Amman is only about 2 hours away by car.
One important thing to know is that there is a military base nearby, and planes take off roughly every two hours, including during the night, so it can be quite noisy.
The dinner was good and generous overall, although the hummus was disappointing. Unfortunately, breakfast was really not the strong point of the stay.
That said, if you absolutely need to spend a night in the Azraq region, it still remains a decent and convenient option.
The stay at the hotel also include the entrance for the natural reserve for bird watching.

Spent one night in January 2026.
As it is, it's an okay place to sleep (clean and tidy, although very noisy and overpriced) with a confused identity that makes it hard to recommend. For one night, it's going to be okay if you bring earplugs and are a heavy sleeper.
The first issue was booking. The telephone numbers provided didn't work for me (I even asked a local to call them for me), and the website has no means to book a room, plus they were not on any other website, so I simply drove here. The person at the reception was very kind and informative.
The price for one night came at 40JOD after a "winter discount" so I cannot imagine what the full price is. This is definitely on the higher end as I paid 30JOD for some beautiful places in my journey that were much better than this.
However, having arrived at 6pm, quite starved, it was 'too late for dinner'. This was a bit of an issue, because the restaurant offer in the area is, well, pretty bad. I asked for recommendations, and he only gave me one: "Ryad restaurant". Why? "Because they're not cheaters". What a heartwarming fact. I've never seen a place with worse online reviews so I steered clear. It seemed more of a favour to a friend owning the restaurant than an honest recommendation. However, honestly, it was near impossible to find a decent place around, so I got some takeaway and ate very little of it, back at the hotel in the comfortable dining area. They had cutlery, dishes, free water and coffee there.

I had a wonderful stay at this Azraq Lodge. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely polite, professional, and welcoming. The chef was excellent, and the food was delicious with a great variety of options. The view from the hotel was absolutely beautiful, and everything we needed was available. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
