Winter closure of the open-air baths "Shirakaba-no-yu" (Late December - 28 February) Due to the accumulation of snow, the open-air bath will be closed during the winter. Until it reopens, you will only be able to use the indoor baths. Please note that the outdoor baths, indoor baths and footbaths of "Hanareyu Hyakuhappo" are open for use as usual.
Local souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop and massages can be requested for an extra cost. Karaoke and sauna rooms are on-site and ski storage is provided.
Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding on tatami (woven-straw) floors or in Western rooms with beds and carpeted floors. Green tea can be enjoyed and each comes with a flat-screen TV and a fridge. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer and slippers.

I might meet the wrong person at the wrong time. I was visiting this place for Higaeri-Onsen. I tried to ask the direction from hotel driver staff that coincidentially stopped by for picking up some guests. I was treated poorly by driver staff. It might becuase that I am not considered to be thier guest as I planned to go their only for a bath, still I do not deserve the ill treatment.
Traditional japanese dinner and breakfast served. 24 hour bath access, shuttle from Yamagata station if you make a reservation. Close to gondolas to see snow monsters.

Very clean and sweet spot. ¥800 but worth, the body wash was amazing. Lovely place, great experience.
