If you don't mind sharing a bathroom this place is great. The rooms were small but very clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Rooms have tatami floors and thick futons to sleep on. The location was great, near Aomori Station, the Nebuta museum, A-Factory, and the city's main shopping street. It was also very affordable.

From a new meaning to the word "modest"… tending to the wretched. Having chosen to priorize the ryokan at the hotels there is that someone is undercast, but here you are well under the bar of normal. However it is clean and for one night, in passing, it can go.
