Contrary to the other negative reviews here, let me share an honest good review:
Good points:
— Surrounded by nature. You can hear the sound of peace and insects.
— You can see the Milky way directly outside the window during summer months.
— Lady was very kind and called me 3 times just to confirm.
— Huge house of 3 floors, very spacious and luxurious, well maintained and clean and head a hammock and binoculars! You can see the neighbouring islands from the 3rd floor.
— Bus stop nearby (Mabushi 間伏バス停) so you can use public transport to get here.
Bad points:
— A bit expensive for the price. We booked because there was nothing cheaper than this.
— The location is pretty isolated. Once you're here, you can't go anywhere at night if you don't have a car.
— No restaurants or grocery stores in the vicinity.
— Feels a bit creepy as insects attracted to the light keep smacking the window and you get scared.
