Great location, Awesome host/owner who is a born & bred local & has a great sense of humour. The place is relatively small, very clean & homely with tea & coffee & kitchen/lounge provided.
Hiloki had great travel advice & is a global traveller himself, so he knows what we want. We learnt more about Nara, Japan & it's culture than we have in the month we have been here. He has a special connection with Kiwi's & Aussies too.
Book via his website so all the income goes directly to him as he's operating in a tough competive area. I suggest staying at least 2 nights in Nara as it's more relaxed than Kyoto or Osaka especially after the day trippers go.

Very friendly and convenient. Close to JR station. Very clean shared bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer. Air conditioning in rooms. Clean kitchen area with tea and coffee provided. Hiloki is a wonderful host and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
