Well there is no word to explain my experience at that hotel
The warm welcome all staffs were so special every single move inside of that hotel was fabulous
I can not tell for all hotels that they have in the world but I can sure you they have one special team that will take care of you in your whole stay.
There is no money that can buy the hospitality that I had there after check out the whole member staffs were just there waiting for us at least I felt that they were there for it
I count and on the way to the pick up area our car was there already just waiting for us the staff at all were 8 people helping us with our luggage s also the manager was out there
I almost cried but I had to hold my feelings at that time
Thank you thank you and thank you again!

We have been the bar a couple of times and our experience was exceptional!
Very friendly and well mannered staff welcome you and give you the best experience. Great drinks and luxurious atmosphere. It may be a little pricy but it is worth it! Strongly recommended!

Amazing service, absolutely accommodating staff, lovely property. On the day of the Jebi Typhoon we moved our hotels to the Ritz to wait it out. Despite us arriving at 6AM, the hotel staff did everything to make sure we were taken of, up until the day we left — a day later than planned due to the airport flooding. Probably one of the best places to be stuck indoors all day. Thank you Ritz! We look forward to staying here again next time we’re back!

We were not guests at this hotel, but we went to the spa. The spa experience was absolutely amazing! From the welcome to the amenities to the actual treatment, the Ritz staff treated us like queens. Make extra time to sit in the relaxation room for some quiet time before and after your treatment; you’ll be glad you did! The staff also knew it was a celebration for my mom so they gave her a sweet little gift and a hand written card! The extra touches truly made this experience amazing.

The price is not FEI, the service also good, room and all attachments have printed their logo, the quality is also very excellent, has big bathtub and bath salts can Bath, the bath also has a TV can see, the curtains are Electric, but they are relatively good landscape is in the duck river that side, but we are arranged on the other side, completely not the landscape, a little disappointed, feeling levels drop a bit too big

This is truly a high class experience that makes you feel welcome. The moment you arrive you are greeted and taken care of (without feeling suffocated). I lost my wallet in the cab I arrived in and without a receipt or anything to help track it down, the RC got it back to me with-in 2 hours! Blown away by every small detail in this gorgeous hotel. Def recommend the sushi bar for it's amazing fish quality and cascading waterfall backdrop. They offer many complementary activities for solo travelers or families (the electric bike ride along the river to a temple was stunning) so make sure to take advantage. Can't say enough nice things about this hotel. 100% recommend.

Can't say enough good things about the service here. My wife was feeling a bit ill when we arrived, so we planned on spending a few hours in the lobby just relaxing while they got our room ready. When I told Mika this, she got our room ready for us immediately and checked us in. Relaxing for a bit made us both feel better and quite literally saved Kyoto for us. Beyond the excellent service it's everything you'd expect from a lux hotel. Beautiful room design, great amenities, and friendly staff. Worth every penny.

The hotel is well maintained since the opening in 2014. Serving and housekeeping are excellent. The location is 10mins away from Kyoto station by taxi, which is convenient and comfortable enough for leisure stay. The washroom are clean and facilities such as doors, pipes and drainage are well maintained, smooth and quiet. Japanese breakfast are well-prepared and more than enough to start my day.

Lunch traditional marriage. High-quality Hotel, mostly visited in the area banquet facilities for a wedding. The lounge served lunch to about 100 guests, was equipped for high-profile events with a direction that, double video projection, lights, robotics and a Hi-Fi. Lunch purely French, with a small contamination in the asian region. Great attention to detail and attention to guests.

This has to be one of the nicest ways to spend your time in Kyoto. Peaceful and adjacent to the river, the Ritz is a small luxury hotel in Kyoto. Though the prices in Yen or hotel points may be out of the price range during peak season, we found it an excellent way to spend a weekend. I highly recommend taking the bike tours (ours was with Aqua! ), which take you to some of the city's best sights before the crowd. The picture from the tour is something we will cherish for years to come. Also make sure to stop by the Michelin starred tempura restaurant located in the hotel. I have not had tempura this good since!

The hotel feels new and the service is wonderful. Rooms are large and well appointed. Extremely helpful with bookings and reservations. Thanks location is great if you want to simply walk out or take a car.

Very beautiful hotel by the river. The staff were so helpful. Greet you off your car and escort you to the restaurant. Happy to show you around the hotel. The tempura restaurant is great. Make sure you sit at the bar counter where the chef will serve you piece by piece. Try the sparkling sake! Water feature outside the lobby is a great selfie spot.

Fantastic hotel if not the best in Kyoto. Certainly the best located top end hotel. Very welcoming and child friendly. Prices to match.

The place is strongly beautiful however I found the service to be quite lacking. The lunch I had also took about 40 minutes. Far too long for a hotel of this reputation.

Amazing and beautiful hotel with great amenities and service, including free bike tours and a swimming pool/sauna/steam room. Loved the breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurants as well as the in-hotel Pierre Hermes shop. Very convenient location near the subway station, ippodo tea shop, and shopping arcades. Highly recommend if you can afford it!

An afternoon tea in a truly elegant setting. Minimal Japanese-style décor. Service at the top.

Exceptional service and wonderful activities! We had an exquisite sake tasting with and sake sommelier which I didn't not existed. Kate was a wonderful guide on our morning bike ride tour. Beth had great food and sight seeing tips. The property of beautiful and in a great location, made getting around the city easy for us. I would definitely come back and recommend anyone and everyone to stay here.

Spectacular though of excessive price. Best value for money in eastern Mandarin Tokyo than at the Ritz Kyoto.

The addition of Jeremy (from France) was a a great addition to the hotel restaurant management team. He can’t do enough for you and will make your stay comfortable and give you above and beyond service. Great high-tea, the Italian restaurant has a super spaghetti with white tomato sauce (signature dish), and best bread sticks I’ve ever had. The rooms are comfortable and cozy with super comfortable beds. Try the $140 a shot local whiskey at the bar. The location is excellent and in proximity to most important visitors landmark sites and temples. It’s a gorgeous hotel with super staff.

Expensive for what it is. No one looked comfortable at the bar. We preferred the hyatt tozan bar. Had better drinks and better service. I think the sitting area would have been more relaxing.

Zen in a hotel. Peace and tranquility permeate the property. Our garden view room was immediately relaxing. If you seek serenity you can find it here. Both restaurants are top notch and the waterfall setting of the lounge is perfection. One of the great hotels of the world.

Good location, the first row in the duck-Sichuan River view. The interior is decorated with the Zen winds of Kyoto. The service is very meticulous and every time you return to the hotel, the waiter will recognize you immediately. A few days in the room service, or dining in the restaurant has a stunning feeling.

Just Ritz standard… everything perfect… well blend of Japanese culture with modernisation. Good location for city visit. Very peaceful looking out on to the river.

Literally my favorite hotel in the world. Something very special about the Kyoto Ritz, every detail is perfection. This is the purest and best blend of East and West.

In a word… Perfection. That seems to be the motto of the staff at the Ritz Carlton Kyoto. Everything from the check in to the suite. The design aesthetic is unparalleled as well.

We have had a wonderful stay at the Ritz-Carlton Kyoto. It is beautiful and very well designed. The staff — — especially Guest Services — — is fabulous: they have done everything they can to heighten our experience at the hotel.

By far one of the best hotels I have stayed in my life. The staff is remarkable, great food, great rooms and a truly amazing service. It offers a great handicapped accesible room for those in need of it. In general I had a wonderful experience.

True definition of luxury. We were pampered even before arriving as Mr Smekens reached out to us for any special requests for the family. We were welcomed and personally escorted by Arisa as soon as we reached the front door to our room for checkin details. The decor is beautiful, modern with Japanese influence and down right comfortable. They have thought of everything for us; from the daily guest entertainment activities, the muse before our meal, the self illuminating light in the walk in closet to the Nespresso coffee machine for addicts like me. We were totally relieved of our exhaustion. We'll come back to Kyoto just to stay here again.

One of the best experiences I've had staying at a hotel. The hotel is located right next to the river and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff at the Kyoto Ritz-Carlton were extremely polite and helpful. The concierge was very knowledgeable of the Kyoto area. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and accomendating.

Recently constructed hotel with 5 star room, service and hotels. Hotel is a short cab ride away from JR station and is conveniently located in central Kyoto and close to eastern Kyoto.

Details in Japanese ~ it's low-key luxury, comfortable, sweet, Breakfast rich and delicious, part of Japanese-style+Western-style a good environment, the room window is one of a local River, the morning sun spilled into the room, with the window, drink a Cup of hot tea warm.

The service and staff are amazing. The front office manager e-mailed us before arrival and asked us if we had any special requests. We requested to have these snacks from Kyoto that are very hard to get. When we checked in, they offered it as a gift to us in our room. What service!

This is the best modern luxury hotel in Japan. Beautiful facility, outstanding service. Not the authentic Kyoto experience (a la ryokan) but for modern amenities, it is difficult to beat.
