Mostly great.
The room was amazing and it had a great bathroom with a full sized bath.
Super close to the airport.
One major let down was the bed unfortunately.
¥1000 yen / night for the car park when you’re a paying guest is a tad steep in my opinion.
We had an early flight @ 710am, so decided to come closer to the airport from Kyoto. The hotel was about 15 min walk from the train station, so make sure you don't have too many large suitcases.
Once we found it, it was easy to check in using the self service kiosk. As this is the 3rd hotel of our trip, seemed all the Japanese hotels all use the same kiosk for check in. Difference here is that there is NO front desk, and there is no employees here at all. We got the key and went to our room. Overall, the hotel seemed modern, but a bit dark perhaps? The room was a good size, but there were no windows. What's left of the window is painted black, and it was locked. The window in the bathroom was able to open if need to. We were on the 5th floor (highest), but we can still hear the traffic outside, so I had my ear plugs.
Overall, considering the cost (around $106 USD), it was fine as it's very close to the airport. Since we got there early enough, we decided to walk to the airport so that the next day morning, we wouldn't have any surprises. The walk was an easy 8 min walk to the terminal building. As the hotel area is very commercial, we decided to just find a restaurant to have dinner (3rd and 4th floor have many restaurants to choose).
