Absolutely amazing stay at ANA InterContinental Beppu! Everything was incredible, the views, the atmosphere, the service, and the food.

We came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it turned out to be a truly memorable escape.

One of the best resorts I’ve stayed at in Japan. Everything was spot on. The food was excellent, and the service went beyond expectations—very Japanese in style, with incredible attention to detail.

Spacious room with gorgeous view, onsen with jacuzzi pool, you can totally relax & stay there for an hour… Food was excellent and with good services.

As for the rooms, we stayed on the 11th floor… our room started with the entrance walkway with the washroom on the left and bath on the right, as well as a shoe rack near the door, entire walkway

We stayed at “Fukurou” room for 6 nights which includes a private outdoor onsen. The accommodations were excellent and relaxing, and the outdoor onsen felt wonderful!

A wonderful stay with impeccable attention to food preparation and presentation.
The bathtubs (one inside and, connected, one on the balcony) was heavenly.

Very comfortable room and nice hotel. Onsen is excellent. Staff are just not friendly and seem to be overburdened by many rules.

Super Duper good experience! Staff are so friendly, rooms are so big, and breakfast was amazing. Rooms are always available there, and the beds are so comfy that I went to heaven!

Amanek Beppu lived to the expectations and I had such a comfortable stay that I’ll want to visit Beppu again! The hotel is a short walk from Beppu station and the rooms are clean and bright.

Staying at AMANEK BEPPU YULA-RE was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect as it is very close to the station, making it easy to get around.

We had a wonderful glamping experience at Grand Verde Resort Beppu. The glamping place is beautiful, and the dome room looks very classy.

We really enjoying this glamping experience as a city person. It’s relaxing our minds with a chill vibe.
The room is clean and cute, and the temperature is just right.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this ryokan. From check-in to check-out, the host was nothing but kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, which made our experience even more special.

Stayed here for 2 nights. No complaints about the room but you can hear a lot of other guests in their rooms. It was particularly noisy in the room above us when they were walking around.

Everyone in this hotel is so kind. If I have to go Beppu again, this hotel will be my first choice.

Love everything in here. The room is traditional, clean and has no bad smell. I do enjoy the private onsen in the room with sea view. Staff are incredibly nice!

What a beautiful hotel. It has preserved its charm over the years. The room was quite spacious, with two beds, a futon style bed, a low table with tons of bean bags and low chairs to sit.

Rooms: the only factor that prevented the stay to be outstanding. At first glance, the "Washitsu" or Japanese traditional style rooms were really dated.

The hotel has indoor, outdoor, and private baths. All of the baths have 100% natural hot springs. The water is clear, slightly brown-colored, and smells of sulfur.

We loved Enowa, and our experience there was our favorite Ryokan experience to date. Our hilltop accommodation was luxurious and modern. The food was what separates this Ryokan from the rest.

A lovely oceanside onset in Beppu. The view of the room is magnificent, I could witness the moon rising over the pelagic horizon as I dip myself in my personal hot water tub.

Amazing service. The room and decor is the best I've ever had. Better than numerous 5 star hotels and a Ritz Carleton I stayed before.

We drove here and it was easy to locate. It is near the yufuin floral village area and yet nicely out of the crowd. We love the room and the private onsen.

Amazing kind-heart landlady and staff put a lot of effort which allowed my friends to enjoy our stay here at this beautiful and relaxing hotel.

Amazing service! Super lovely landlady~ recommended a great Yakitori place for us and booked it for us as well. We also met the owner. He was such a nice guy and gave us a lift into town.

We had a wonderful experience during our recent stay at the Grand Mercure Hotel this spring.

Having been to multiple similar star-grade onsen hotels in Kyushu so far, this would be somewhere average with the others: not particularly outstanding, not bad either.

We had a very satisfying two days with three generations of our family.

I used the Amagase Onsen passport (1, 200 yen for 3 designated hot springs. Purchased at the tourist information center inside the station). The hot springs had a slight sulfur scent and felt good.

Comfortable modest business hotel with good sized rooms, friendly and helpful staff (albeit with limited English) and parking out the front. Good Japanese breakfast and dinners (if ordered early).

This is a great little hotel. I could find no info in English about it, and feared the worst. However, it’s new, spotless, comfortable and rooms are spacious.

We were well taken care of here! I arrived late at night with my friend and we were helped by friendly and amazing staff member, Sumisu Kumar.

In here you can see sunrise. Dinner is great. The onsen is also good. I will recommend if you have a car. The only thing is that hotel accepts group of tourists it may get crowded.

5 stars all the way! My favourite accommodation in my whole Japan trip in September. They had an indoor and outdoor onsen, good when you’re tired after a long day of walking or waking up early.

Comfy place. Stunning view in front of the house. Very good service. Charming outdoor onzen. Convenience parking.
