The hotel itself is beautiful. Located behind the Kokura Station which is very convenient for transportation. There’s even a bridge directly connected to the station. The service was awesome with warm smile.

The hotel is fantastic… There is hot tub, trouser press (automatic) and a room air purifier cum humidifier in the room.

Very nice luxury hotel in the beautiful Kokura city. The location is the best as it's right beside the Kokura station which has all the possible trains and Connie routes. Not to mention it's right beside the downtown as well. The best food places are all nearby too. Last but not the least the hotel staff are very polite and very resourceful. Overall I like this hotel in this town very much and will be coming back soon and often.

Great business hotel. Well, I went for business matters. However, could be a comfortable one for holidays too. Comfortable, and cozy. Japanese style breakfast, have a few variety for English breakfast as well but ya generally its more of Japanese food.

Stayed on 19th floor in a spacious room. There's nice restaurants on 2F and pool. Good service and price is okay. Can walk directly from station, without going outside if the weather is bad.

Huge, five star hotel with direct, roofed access to Kokura Station, one Shinkansen ride from Fukuoka. We stayed at a room on the 26 room with a terrific view of the harbor and mountains. Our deal came with access to the sprawling, supremely well maintained pool and spa on the sixth floor. We also got drinks at appetizers on the unbelievable 29th floor restaurant, where we were kindly hosted by the manager Sasaki, who spoke English. Breakfast was expectedly superb, and we had the options of getting room service or lunch instead of breakfast at three different restaurants. Rhiga Royal was one of the best large luxury hotels I've stayed at in Japan and I will definitely return when visiting Fukuoka again.

Four star hotel. Good view from the room window. Why I put 4 stars as a rating — is because the first thing I heard to my request "please book tickets for the Jetfoil Toppy boat from Kagoshima to Yakushima" was "No, we cannot do it. " I think my eyes widened so much that they reacted instantly and tried to help. After we gave them the website address to Toppy Terminal in Kagoshima, mind you. Basically the reception in another hotel line in China bought plane tickets to my name, I just paid reception in cash, end of story. But in this hotel — these guys said "No, we cannot book tickets". Jesus. Am I expecting too much? Granted, they helped solve the problem in the end, they called the port and checked if they speak English, and in the end we did book the tickets, but it left an uneasy impression that the hotel should either review their policy or train their staff not to spit out "No" as a first answer. Something among the lines like "We will try to accommodate your needs, though this request is uncommon and may not be resolved as you expect" would be nice. Instead of "No".

Good hotel by Japan standard. The room was big enough, service was excellent, location is great and the breakfast was OK-ish.

Super convenient, 2nd floor is connecting to the station♡

Its Joust beside the train station, so you are able to walk to it. The service its great, people working here are so kind. The buffete its grest, joust a little bit crowded. And rooms are good, a llitle more oriental (small an hard beds) normal and oriental pillows avialable. Great bathroom with all services. And a great view from restaurant Champo om floor 28. Overall its a great place.

Comfortable hotel and quite spacious by Japanese standards. Located a two minute walk from the Shinkazen and very central to restaurants and other attractions.
