Very large rooms for a typical japanese hotel but somewhat odd policy of requiring you to turn in your room key each time you leave the hotel (i assume to prevent lost keys, they still use physical keys instead of electronic key cards). Convenient location near hakata station.

Very nice hotel close to Hakata station and just 1 minute walk from an old temple behind it (I forgot the name). The room is quite neat. The breakfast is probably one of the best I found in Japanese hotels so far.
