Clean, and quiet. Very close to the Tsukuba Express, and shopping malls, which I very convenient.

:: Great hotel and service + good location :: The hotel's location is located in a connected buildings sharing the pathways. There're many shopping centres and restaurants nearby within 1-2 minutes walk. Staff can speak English fluently and having great service minded. There's a large indoor swimming pool but without a gym, otherwise I would've given 5 stars to this hotel. The Wi-Fi is quite fast with download speed up to 15.52 mbps. Hotel amenities is full option just as you could expect from Japanese hotels.

The first night of the trip to Japan to live in Zhubo Okura Pioneer hotel, Hotel lobby is not big, but in japan, room space is Ok. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Japanese hotel in a high standard very close to shopping area and train station. The beds are very good, maybe for doing too hard. Unfortunately like all buildings not well insulated. Therefore it can be quite cold in winter.

Very gorgeous place, one of the oldest hotels in Tsukuba. Specialized in organizing parties as well. Official events.

It was very clean, the single room was spacious enough for one, and had great view. The location was convenient as it was connected to the conference center where I was attending a professional event.

Ate at Chinese restaurant at the hotel. Food was good. Service was good, though I was there late and there was only one other customer. Seemed a little pricey for what it was (being a hotel restaurant not withstanding)

The hotel is right next to the conference center and a reasonable walk from the Tsukuba Express station along a dedicated pedestrian path. Close to a grocery store and other stores, as well as several bars and restaurants. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Maintenance is excellent and staff is very professional and attentive. Cleaning service is exceptional. The attached restaurant, Casa, provides acceptable food if you don't want to go far. Breakfast is chosen from a fixed menu, rather than from a buffet, and the limited choice gets repetitive after a week. Overall a good stay and a hotel I could easily recommend, although maybe the main location (not Epochal) would be better for longer stays due to breakfast choices.

Room is good and comfortable, Front office staff is very helping and friendly.

Good services, nearest bus station, it's about 10 to 15 minutes to the University.
