Bed&Bicycle

The host, Yuya, was an amazing host. He made sure we were as comfortable and welcomed as possible. He was easy to communicate with and felt like a friend right away. He provided above and beyond hospitality. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and traditional. We chose to go on a bike ride with Yuya in the morning, where he shared very knowledgeable insight on Osaka and his travels across Japan as a whole. There were many hidden wonders of suburban Osaka that we would not have otherwise noticed or known.

Yuya the host is such a sunshine. He’s friendly, helpful and speaks fluent English. The premise is super clean and tidy with all amenities we needed. It was the first time ever I’m on a road bike and I was kind of nervous going down steep slope. In a short and narrow one, Yuya caught me with the bike with opened arms and literally saved my life. City bikes are available too for the 4-hour scenery bike ride that comes with only a few uphill parts. Highly recommended if u want to experience something different from Namba which is only an half hour train ride.

I was lucky enough to have Yuya (host) on 2 tours and I had an amazing time on both. I had his bicycle tour around rural Osaka and a tour to the Kongo mountain (he offered to do it when I told him I wanted to go, what an amazing guy! ). He always kept an eye on my welfare during the tours and took some amazing pictures.  I visited his guest house before the tours and it is very clean and in a convenient location. If you are looking for tours and accommodation around Osaka, Yuya is your guy for both! :)

This is a very comfortable guest house.
It was a bit difficult to find, but it's a quiet place with a hidden atmosphere. Apparently you can also have a barbecue outside the eaves.

The area around the facility is near the station, so there are many restaurants and supermarkets, so I didn't have any trouble finding food or shopping.
This time I came by car, but the location was convenient as there were several coin parking lots within a 1-minute walk.
He was a very kind and polite person.
Facilities such as showers and toilets are very clean.
The cleaning was thorough, so I felt safe and comfortable.
This facility also has a living space where you can relax, so I thought it would be good for groups to use it.

At first glance, it looks like a trendy old folk house, but the inside has been renovated and is very clean. It's in a secluded area, so it might be hard to find if you're visiting for the first time, but it feels like a secret base, which is why I like it. The owner is also very polite, kind and humane, and seems to be active as a rescue cat.

The host was very passionate. He liked hiking and shared with us a lot of experience and advices about Osaka country side. It was a great experience being there.

Great place to stay at! Peaceful and comfortable. Train station, supermarket, restaurants, bakery, green spots, everything is close by. Good English. Amazing people.
