Review of Toya Sun Palace Resort & Spa 4*

When we were arriving at the hotel, the outside looked pretty old and run down. Honestly, I was quite disappointed. Then we arrived inside. Boy was I ever wrong! This was the most beautiful hotel I have EVER seen. It was like we were in an actual palace! The scene was beyond beautiful. The lake was like a serene mirror. The mountains were like something out of a painting. I have never slept in a tatami let alone been in a traditional Japanese style room! It was like I was living in the olden Japanese eras. The best part of this hotel resort is that they have natural hot springs! It felt like we were in an anime, wearing these beautiful Yukatas. It only gets better. They have fireworks daily at 8:45pm. We missed it, but we caught a glimpse from the hot springs ♨. The boat carrying it across the lake also passes by the hot springs as well as the lobby. The hot springs were just so surreal I can't put it to words. Even the showers here were so good. It makes showering so fun. The soaps there are also the state of the art. Even the lotions are expensive, not the typical hotel ones. There's also an arcade, water park, and a juice bar. There's a super Nintendo in the hotel rooms! But you have to pay for it. Don't forget the buffet! The buffet offers many Japanese style as well as western style foods. There's also traditional Japanese food there. The only problems were that it's on the expensive side. They have a super Nintendo! But you have to pay to use it… The washroom is pretty bad though. The toilets were ok but the bathtub was dirty looking and old. I guess they really want you to use the hot springs! I wish I could come here everyday.
