Guest reviews regarding the staff are mixed. Many describe the team as very friendly, warm, and attentive, noting their gentle communication style. Meals are self-service in a café converted from an old storehouse. For some guests, this portion size was ideal, while others noted that rice is served in shared bowls (ohitsu), which can be uncomfortable when sharing with strangers.
