Not the most modern hotel, but very nice. Large rooms and the futon beds are the best I ever slept on. They serve you a big and delicious traditional Japanse breakfast. Unfortunately at a set time, but it's more than Worth walking up in time for. If you come by train and plan to use the shuttlebus, don't stress. It's a small station with one exit so you can't miss the bus near the tourist center.
The room seemed a bit dated, but no other complaints!

Not the best place. Don't go if you want to try Japanese Ryokan there are so many places better than this. The rooms are good, but the onsen was filthy (which never happens in Japan) and the food was not fresh and not good. Hospitality wise it was excellent. Plus point for the game room (Paxman, Mario, tekken etc. )
