Came here with my wife for a complimentary day pass, I must stay I had a great time. Staff was great especially front desk Shelby, Shaquiel Jessica, Michaela, Lereasa, Deneloa and Roxanne and the decadence members were amazing. Great food too. Will definitely come back.

First and foremost… the place is under tremendous renovations… kudos to that, because everything else that matters is amazing. Very excited to see the fully reno efforts when complete. Impeccable, respectful and pleasant service received consistently by knowledgeable staff in every department. You will not find a better comlimentary brunch in these hotels… second to none. Authentic good, no frills no hold back Jamaican cuisine… this is what u came for.
Located central to where u need to be… highways closeby and other attractions. Hospitals, fast food and GOOD FOOD🤣 pharmacy and other shops in the case u need things. If the final face lift is up to par with its employees then we full hundred! Biggup yourself Golfy… u good.

I had a very pleasant stay at Golf View Hotel in Mandeville. As a local Jamaican who has attended events at the hotel over the years but had never actually stayed there, I was especially impressed by the experience.
The room was comfortable, clean, and provided everything needed for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights was dining at Decadence Restaurant. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and the food was delicious. The breakfast selection was equally impressive, with substantial Jamaican breakfast options that were both satisfying and well prepared.
A special thank you to Shaquille, who kindly assisted us with our luggage, and to the young lady who checked us in. The front desk team and housekeeping staff were consistently pleasant, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay, making us feel genuinely welcome.
As a suggestion for improvement, it would be great if complimentary microwaves and hair dryers were available in the rooms. However, this was a minor consideration and did not detract from the overall experience.
Overall, Golf View Hotel offers excellent value for money, great food, comfortable accommodations, and warm Jamaican hospitality. I left pleasantly surprised and would gladly stay here again and recommend it to both locals and visitors alike.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Golf View Hotel for my belated birthday celebration as a girls’ getaway this past weekend, and I can honestly say the experience exceeded all expectations.
From the moment we entered the lobby, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. Miss Lereasa was incredibly helpful and made sure we understood everything about our stay, which made us feel comfortable and well taken care of from the start.
When we got to our room, we were very impressed. The room was spotless, beautifully prepared, and smelled so fresh special commendations to the housekeeping team for maintaining such a high standard of cleanliness.
One of the highlights of our stay was visiting The Latitude Lounge, where we received truly outstanding service from Kristoff, Jayden, and Leon. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail made our evening very enjoyable. They ensured we were always comfortable, well served, and having a great time.
We originally booked for one night, but because of how amazing the experience was, we extended our stay for a second night with the assistance of Mr. Kardie, who made the process smooth and easy. That turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.
The next day we enjoyed the pool, which was clean, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind. The food and amenities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful, clean, and welcoming.

My stay at Golf View Hotel was very last minute, and I’m so glad everything worked out perfectly! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had such beautiful aesthetics. I really enjoyed the overall vibe and atmosphere.
The staff was super nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They were accommodating and helpful from start to finish.
They were also hosting a Valentine’s event during our stay, and we were able to get the room decorated — which made it extra special and memorable. Everything felt thoughtful and well put together.
I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

I travelled from the Kingston Airport, one week after hurricane Melissa. Got a private driver and the drive was unevenful, as the hurricane, had not hit the city of Kingston, I traveled to the Golfview hotel in Mandeville in the parish of Manchester. First time, ever staying in that region of jamaica. I have to admit, that upon first approach, I was a bit hesitant, as the hotel did not meet my expections visually. But, and I have to say, but, was I in for a surprise.
My first encounter was with Lafaye, the front desk receptionist. She was extremely pleasant and personable and I felt at ease. She offered me a free upgrade and I eagerly accepted. She handled my reservation well and after a gruelingly long trek, I was happy to see that she was confident in doing her job. This one is a keeper for sure. The room was nicely proportioned and I was pleasantly surprised. I had no complaints. Mr Bailey, took my bag up to my room. A very nice young man. It was a very heavy bag, as it had food supplies that I had bought for the victims of Melissa. He didnt complain, but I am sure he felt the weight, as the handle had dislodged itself, during transit.
My next person of interest, was Askera. I kept calling her Reshika, and she answered to it. I dont know why. She was so pleasant, every time I saw her. Always smiling with a little dimple on the left side of her cheek. Definately, another keeper for sure.

It's very clean. The staff were all pleasant. House keeping was interesting. Different crews had different jobs. And would appear at different times of the day to do them. One crew would make the beds and take the dirty towels. A different person would show several hours later with the replacement towels, somewhere in between these to events, another crew would show up to clean the bathroom and the floors. The breakfast which was included. They only had fruit on one of the days. The toaster for the bread was a George Foreman grill, that was not always there. Food choices was very limited, only about 6-7 items. They did a bait and switch with the rooms, calling and saying that they were under renovation and the rooms you booked online weren't renovated yet. And didn't have air-conditioning, and asked do you want upgrade to a room with air-conditioning. Water temperature for showers was inconsistent, with large differences from one one day to the next.

My husband and I had lunch at the restaurant recently and it was a most rewarding experience. We were greeted warmly and the service was great. I must commend Demeka for doing a great job of making sure that our experience was of outstanding quality. I had oxtail and the portion was good and food was tasty. And for the first time in a restaurant in Jamaica the food was not spicy!

I recently stayed at this hotel last month, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge the outstanding service provided by Richard Smith. He went above and beyond my expectations in every way his attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine politeness truly stood out.
During a very difficult time, while my family and I were grieving a loss, Richard made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His compassion and commitment to excellent customer service did not go unnoticed.
Richard Smith is an exceptional employee and a true asset to your team.

Hotel has great improvement. I stayed there years ago, and went back July 2024. Room was clean and spacious with air conditioner. Friendly and helpful staff. Television did not work. Breakfast is very limited, no choices. Needs improvement.

I’m not sure how the hotel policies goes but if my love one had booked a stay and got admitted to the hospital where he is not able to travel and reached out to the hotel to canceled his stay and to get a refund and their denies his refund that just goes to show how cold heated this place is as they have no sympathy for anyone health concerns. And all the other guest makes sure to read the reviews of this hotel before you actually booked if anyone in management wants to confirmed if this is a valid post you can contact me. This is very sad he deserve ti get his refund as this is total foolishness.

My first time there, my colleagues and I went there the service could be better. The female worker complained of being tired to do just a simple task. It's like one staff member giving you the go-ahead to do something and the other saying no. We have to be back and forth for a while before settling. It turns out ok. The food was good, just a bit salty that night. Probably everyone was tired. So I do hope that on my next visit they will be more rested. Or the manager could employ more workers since the festive season is near. Great atmosphere, settings amazing.

Can’t beat the location. They are renovating so plenty of work to be done. I did stay in a renovated double room (it had no fridge) but AC worked well, and the water did get hot in the shower. Wifi was generally good. The breakfast was excellent. Front desk was just okay but the restaurant service was very good. More work need to be completed so the gym is operational and just overall a facelift but I had a good experience. Reference photos attached.

I was there for a few nights at golfview and there is no hot water bathroom was dirty mildew and around toilet was very dirty no refrigerator or a safety box for personal items I left something on the floor to see if housekeeping will clean it up and it was still there until I left. It’s horrible and dirty would never stayed there again or recommend anyone there. Every where you look it’s dirty I hope management read this review and improved room so customer could be happy.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! this is crazy I can’t make this up … the service in this establishment is very disgusting. The room I was staying in was very dirty. Pillow cases were dirty, the wooden door looked like it’s been getting chipped at by animals for some time. Not to mention my complaints to the staff were not acknowledged. And to end my very horrible stay here … someone broke into my room and stole a lot of money from me. Over 2000 usd. This needs to be seen and addressed asap!

One of my family members recently visited this hotel in mandeville Jamaica.
There room door had do not disturb on it and one of the workers went into the room and stole $2000 US from their belongings. Only the hotel would have an extra key to the room door. The incident was reported to the front desk and manager, however, no further actions were made as it results in resolving the situation. The room was very out of order and unclean, the security of this hotel is very poor. Workers are not professional and their attitude towards customers is not demure. I would not recommend going to this hotel.
