Savernano

We stayed at Savernano in October 2025, as part of a 3 week Italian trip for our honeymoon, and absolutely loved it.
Our host Caterina picked us up from Figline Valdarno train station and transported us to the B&B, which is around 15 minutes away, quite remote, and just up from a small town with a small shop, a pharmacy, and a bar.
The room was spacious and very clean, with an en-suite bathroom (an excellent shower), and a very comfy double bed.
The communal areas include a swimming a pool (which we did use, despite it being October! ), sun loungers, and a viewing point with amazing views of the surrounding area. Additionally, there's plenty of seating area outside the main breakfast/dinner area.
On the land they keep donkeys, cows, pigs & other wildlife.
The food was excellent, and very fairly priced. We had breakfast & dinner each day, and all the produce is from the local land. They were also able to cater easily for gluten-free. It was honestly the best food we've had all trip.
The family who run it are really accomodating and friendly. They have two adorable dogs (who love fetch), and an amazing parrot.
We'll definitely look at coming back one day, and maybe bring a few friends with us.
If you're looking at the area, we'd definitely recommend.

Location was stunning. Up the hillside with beautiful views in all directions. Lovely large terrace and huge pool. Room was spacious and rustic.
Katerina and her father run the establishment and do a great job. Very relaxed and informal. We paid to have our evening meals there each night which was great, (3 courses) and met some lovely people. You are able to walk the vineyards and we had a little tour of the winemaking process (it was the first days of the harvest). Their wine is very good too!
It was a good base to drive the Chianti route which is well worth doing for some beautiful scenery.
Loved staying here, recharged our batteries ready for Florence!
Worth remembering that this is a working vineyard/farm with rooms, not a hotel. Therefore once breakfast is served you won’t see anyone around, especially during the harvest, until the evening for dinner.

Nice breakfast, you are offered eggs and coffee/thee when you sit down. Other things you can get yourself and every morning fresh baked goods. Very nice.
The dinner is amazing and freshly made every evening. Great products from their own farm including amazing wine, olive oil and balsamico.
Accommodation is very nice and clean. The pool is very large with a great view. Within seconds you walk through the vineyard or the olive trees. When requested we got a tour through the winery.
Staff is very sweet, helpfull and authentic. If you have any questions, need help or tips they will help straight away.

We’ve stayed at this beautiful, family-run agriturismo three times now — and every visit has been pure magic. Nestled among vineyards and olive trees, it offers stunning views, total tranquility, and the kind of warm hospitality that keeps us coming back.
Each evening, we enjoyed delicious homecooked meals on the veranda, with fresh ingredients straight from the farm and local wine that paired perfectly. Days were spent relaxing by the pool, soaking up the sun and the peaceful countryside atmosphere.
It’s the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and experience the charm of rural Italy. Couldn’t recommend it more highly. Five stars!

A dream stay to start our one week holiday in Tuscany.
The location of the agriturismo, located on top of a hill overlooking the vineyards and lush green hills, is stunning! The drive up the steep hill with its twists and turns is an experience as well. Upon arrival we had a warm welcome and the owners were very accommodating with our late check-in (10pm).
The room was simple, spacious and clean. The bathroom had a heavenly shower 🚿 — I like a shower with a hard flow — and it was also clean and spacious.
Breakfast is Italian style 🇮🇹, but we were always offered fresh coffee/tea and scrambled eggs in the morning. The eggs were perfection. Dinner, accompanied by home grown wine, was amazing as well.
The pool is ideally located in the sunniest part of the domain. You can enjoy it from morning until sunset.
A great place to stay!

We stopped into this bellissimo winery on an outing while staying in Reggello. This is a family owned and operated boutique hotel that makes their own olive oil, wine and balsamic vinegar. We had all three wonderful products with a fantastic lunch made especially for us by Katarina, the owner’s daughter. The tranquility of the boutique hotel/winery made our stay even more relaxing. The entire grounds are beautiful, well kept and spread out, so if you were to stay here, you have privacy. When we come back to visit the area, we will definitely stay here. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. There is space to spread out and have privacy. They even have 3 little dogs on the premises, Lola is the one I picked up for the picture.

This is a fantastic place. The wine is good, the food is amazing and the views are breathtaking. On top of that, the hospitality by this beautiul family is 10/10 and it feels like you are part of the family. A perfect place to spend a few days or more!

Many people write about the location. Others amenities. In my opinion, the feeling of being treated like family by a wonderful family clearly sets this Savernano apart from the rest. The morning welcomes with a fresh cup of coffee, pastries of your choice to accompany the choices of coffee offered, the delicious breakfast that is included with your stay and the incredible views of the surrounding mountains make this a must stop while in Tuscany. And even better, after a long day of sightseeing, knowing you are welcome to return and have a 3 course dinner prepared for you each evening homemade by the family. To go with the dinner, their own 100% Sangiovese with grapes grown on site. As you gaze out over the orchards of olives growing and then taste the magnificent olive oil on fresh bread or in the dishes prepared for you, you feel your in a special place.

It was our third visit. The accomodation is beautiful, the family is very lovely and the view is stunning! You have to visit this place! Every evening they have a 3 course menu and they make there own Chianti Riserva DOCG red wine. The rooms are in Tuscan style and clean. Grazie!

Our family really enjoyed our 5 night stay at Savernano while exploring the Tuscany region. The Panoni family was very hospitable and made our stay very comfortable. Our room was spacious and clean for all of us (a couple and a child). We enjoyed dinner every night of our stay and the food and wine were wonderful. My daughter especially loved all the animals (dogs, birds, parrot, turtles, donkeys)! We highly recommend this agroturismo for anyone wanting a place to settle while exploring the Tuscany area — we went to Gaiole in Chianti, San Gimignano, Arrezo, and Pisa!

Agriturismo Savernano is a slice of heaven. Caterina and her parents are incredibly special hosts, they make you feel so comfortable that it feels like family. Their estate is so unbelievably inviting, with their breathtaking wine and olive vineyard view.
The rooms have everything you need to sleep comfortably. They also had great showers with rainfall shower heads!
Please do yourself a favor and eat dinner made by Ava and Caterina. We stayed 4 nights and ate there every night and loved all our meals. Their DOCG Chianti Reserve was delicious, we even ordered a couple cases for home.
The pool area is also amazing after long days spent in beautiful Tuscany towns.
We are counting down the days of returning to this slice of heaven.

Savernano is everything you can imagine and more … absolutely the best experience in Tuscany, hosted by a wonderful family, best food, best wine. Really recommend for staying in this amazing place at least for couple of nights so that you can also enjoy the home made breakfast and dinner that is offered at the property.

Overall excellent experience at Savernano! After living in Italy for 3 years the dinners here are without a doubt in our top! The view from the hotel is gorgeous and on top of a hill that’s perfect for sunsets. The room was simple but nice. The family has three great dogs which made the stay even better. I cannot recommend staying here enough and plan to have at least one dinner there!

I was allowed to photograph a wedding in September 2023 at Agriturismo Savernano and I can just say this location is incredibly beautiful, you immediately feel at home.
The location is about 2km outside of Vaggio and getting there by car is super easy and there are enough of covered parking spaces in front of the house.
There are around 10 rooms in the house that are lovingly furnished and from the large terrace or the large pool you have a beautiful view of the valley or can experience wonderful sunsets.
It's a wonderful place with great hosts and perfect to experience the unique Tuscany feeling for a few days.

My second stay at this amazing place, accompanied by my girlfriend and another couple.
David, Caterina and the family are all very welcoming and hospitable. It feels like you are the guest in their own home, which you actually are.
The rooms have everything you need and are romantic and authentically Tuscan in decor. The food is homey, authentic and all ingredients are local, if not sourced on the farm itself.
I will definitely be coming back to this place once again. The most beautiful, relaxing and delicious experience I have ever had.

The best holiday location on Earth! Everything about this place is perfect! The family, the location, the service, the view. Just perfect! You can always feel welcomed there and the family makes sure that you have everything you need to feel amazing. The dinner feels like somebody waits for you at home with a warm meal. The atmosphere there is just great.
The pool is very clean and it is a nice place to spend the afternoon after the daily travels or to jump in early morning. The place is so quiet and chill, super kid friendly and an amazing place to just recharge your batteries.
The wine and olive oil produced there are very very good and I am so happy that I can order them abroad!
