La Cerquetta

Yes, there is a large outdoor parking lot located directly in front of the hotel, which guests describe as convenient and spacious.

Reviews regarding the staff are mixed: many guests describe the owner, Luca, and the staff as welcoming, hospitable, and professional, noting their old-school courtesy. On the other hand, there are complaints about rudeness, a somewhat abrupt check-in process, and staff dissatisfaction when woken by phone calls at night. Please note that the main entrance is locked at night and the reception desk is unattended, so guests must call a staff member to gain entry.

Breakfast at the hotel includes homemade pastries and sweets, which many guests describe as special and delicious. Descriptions range from "hearty" to "disappointing." The menu may include omelets, cheese, bread, and juice. For guests unable to attend breakfast, the staff can prepare packed sandwiches the evening before.

The restaurant offers traditional Umbrian cuisine, including pappardelle "alla cerquetta," Roman-style artichokes, and homemade desserts. Guests highly appreciate the quality and portion sizes, particularly highlighting the freshness of ingredients from their own garden, as well as the carbonara and pizza. Many note excellent value for money, though a few diners were dissatisfied with the service speed and dish hygiene (mentioning a hair and an insect in the food).

Yes, Wi-Fi is available in the hotel rooms.

Soundproofing at the hotel is poor: guests complain about hearing street noise as well as housekeeping staff working in the hallways. As for sleep quality, opinions are divided: some describe the beds as comfortable, while others complain about uncomfortable pillows and overall worn-out furniture. Good heating was noted in some rooms.

Most guests agree that the hotel and its rooms are dated and in need of renovation. Mentioned issues include worn bedsheets and towels with holes, old plumbing with low water pressure, peeling bathroom tiles, and dusty furniture. Some describe the rooms as simple yet functional, while others call them small and untidy.

The issue of cleanliness is a subject of debate. Some guests find the rooms clean and neat. However, there are serious complaints regarding dirty floors, dusty furniture, hair in the bed linen, dirty plumbing fixtures, and a lack of hygiene standards in certain rooms.

Some guests noted that the heating in their room was good. At the same time, issues were mentioned regarding tap water temperature (water being barely warm) and a lack of air conditioning, which could make the rooms hot.
