Staff very nice, very clean room and great breakfast. They make kindness and putting their strength at ease. Parking in front of the entrance, comfortable bed, we also had the cradle for the baby without surcharge. The structure is a bit dated and some things should be "resumed" but overall the rating is absolutely positive.

Warm welcome, incredible room for 4 people: master suite, kitchenette (4 cooking beaks, oven, fridge, sink), numerous cupboards, access to a large terrace, parking in the basement for 5 euros, typical decoration without being too busy, very good bedding and absolutely impeccable cleanliness! Nothing to do with motorway hotel chains. Breakfast varied enough. In short, a perfect step for 91. Note: no restaurant at the hotel but you'll find what you need just a few steps away.

A smiling welcome, a clean and spacious room with a large balcony in the sun, a decoration like at home. We feel at home here! Breakfast of various cakes and varied excellent. In an authentic and picturesque city. A nice detour to do. And a place where we would be happy to stay longer! Thank you very much.

An extremely nice place, nice breakfast and especially nice and cute host! We stay here for one night. The location is good, less than 10 mins by walk from the station. The bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is a WOW. This place makes us feel like home. Mrs. Picchio is very kind and energetic. We all like her very much. Hotel Picchio is a good place to stay when you come to Orvieto. Will definitely come back again if we have chance!

Unique…, very convenient to visit Orvieto, at the foot of the cliff. With a climb a little challenging you can reach the center on foot, otherwise the hotel is just a few steps from the funicular. Very clean and comfortable rooms Superb breakfast with variety of homemade cakes directly from the proprietor. Availability of salt breakfast. Really nothing to plead for. Extreme courtesy and valid indications on the area and the surroundings complete the perfection of the stay, together with the covered garage in which to keep the car safe with modest additions on the agreed price! Experience to be repeated surely…!

We enjoyed the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the carefully furnished rooms, the comfort of the mattresses and the quietness of the place. There is also a kettle with tea bags in the room. The owner has proved very helpful and kind. Excellent breakfast, made from exquisite cakes (at least 10) prepared by you, yogurt, cereals, fruit juice, coffee… and various types of meats. The breakfast room is delicious

Very good service, spacious and clean rooms, would have Q improve lighting and put a larger LCD.

We stayed two nights at this hotel at the foot of Orvieto.
It is 300m from the cable car that leads to the village… or 10 minutes by car to get to the car park (for a fee) located near the centre.
Friendly staff, normal rooms but with all the necessary amenities, super hearty breakfast with homemade cakes from the owner! Free car park.

Very nice & familiar Hotel in the residental area Orvieto Scalo. If you stopover in Orvieto it´s perfect, because very short Approach from the autostrada, but it is located quiet. Also breakfast very nice.

Hotel located out of town. But close to the funicular for the same. Rooms were pleasantly renovated. Air conditioning. Excellent Wi-Fi. Excellent breakfast with rich choice of homemade cakes. Parking available at 5 Euro SL Day.

Passing through Orvieto, we stopped to sleep in this family run hotel. Cute double room with a very comfortable bed! We slept beautifully (not easy because difficult to find really comfy mattresses) and everything was well cleaned. The breakfast is worth noting: at least 10 different types of cakes, all excellent and homemade; Salami, cheese, hard-boiled eggs… well, we'il be back for sure!
P. S. With only 5 euros more, there is the possibility to put the car in the garage covered. Total price of the night plus the excellent breakfast and garage: 75 euro (incl. Tourist tax)

Very nice staff, sweet lady vecchio. Decent room. Only complaint was low Wi-Fi signal.

Courtesy and helpfulness, I stayed at this hotel and I think I will return. Clean rooms, comfortable beds in the media. I had a room (two-bedroom apartment) in front of the hotel where there is the garage on payment (€ 5). Well heated and exceptional homemade cakes from the holder.

Good only sleep, the availability and kindness of the owners, breakfast awful is to sleep in room 312 (room side) and have the cinnamon dripping shower, sleeping I had to put a towel! But even the sink from under when dripped opened the water.

Quiet and comfortable, good location, breakfast also unforgettable for those who, like me, loves to eat sweets but rather make them. Owner very friendly and competent. Enrico.

Amenities at 360° (you won't miss anything) ; availability, courtesy and flexibility. Room for two spacious, warm, clean, comfortable bed. Bathroom recently renovated, very clean with everything; air conditioning not included in price. Very satisfying.
