Its a wonderful place of peace and harmony in the middle of JUST nature.
The food is AMAZING… please try the „panzanella“ and the „picci“… the staff is always kind and welcoming… and its far away from the tourists… which we love and enjoy.

When you get to the parking lot, you can breathe the air of the house of tranquility. Oak, lawn, riding stables, patio… you remains already open mouth. Inside, the decor is simple, warm, in line with the traditions of the umbrian-tuscan. It is received in an excellent manner. Council l starter of felcino for 2 people… cold meats-excellent. The Croton in the photo is baked in a wood oven, you hear! The cut in the pesto of the felcino something sublime, juicy and tender served with the bone below, that makes a lot of scene. I have never stayed in a more welcoming and genuine place than this, there is everything for a mini holiday with the family, even with very young children, guaranteed relaxation. Great kitchen and staff very helpful.

Nestled in the green Umbrian countryside, a short walk from the border with Tuscany, the Felcino is a jewel set in an authentic oasis of tranquility and purity.
A lovely environment, taken care of in the smallest detail, from furniture to the smallest furnishings.
Staff who stand out for professionalism and sympathy.
And superb cuisine. An excellent choice of Umbrian and Tuscan wines accompanies a menu of hearty and genuine dishes. On all, the handmade pasta, potatoes and onions cooked in ash and especially the unbeaty Florentine. Unmissable!

Now this is a great place to eat and enjoy. As far as I've had the chance to see, looks like it's kinda common in Città della Pieve area to find top-notch "trattorie" boasting great food couple with great attention for details ranging from cloths to furniture but… this has exceeded my expectations!
Fiorentina-style steak cooked on the open we-facing fireplace served with potatoes and onions under ashes almost made me cry.
Handmade pasta noodles with well balanced gravy sauce made with local meat.
Appetizers that almost made me think "that" was the lunch.
Psst… They are horse-lovers (and trainers) too!

Great place, the apartments that are available are really nice and particular… Great food! If you are in the area it is worth making a jump for both food and for one/more nights/I to relax.
