Country House Carfagna Hotel

The top of the top, we go to Sandro since I was a child (40 this year). The location is amazing you are at the foot of Assisi with a breathtaking view of the basilica. Large clean Rooms and comfy beds. Large green areas, swimming pool. But What is worth the whole stay is the family Carfagna with the mother in the kitchen to make great local dishes, Andrea and Sofia in the room to make the evening spectacular and the boss, Sandro, the fire, the meat as the bake he does not bake anyone and I ate meat. Friendly, helpful, never excessive. You'll love this place as it happened to all the friends we sent. If you go to Assisi you can not go from Carfagna Sandro and family. They Deserve the sixth!

The rooms are beautiful and offer a wonderful view of Assisi if Required. The structure is new, comfortable even to reach in a few minutes the center in the car. The Staff is Great. Family. I recommend eating from them because it is one of the strengths!

Excellent, Homemade Cuisine But quality, impeccable service and more than honest prices all framed by a beautiful nature with possibility in the summer months to eat even outdoors in very large spaces.

It was the third time we went and for each there was a different treatment. Location beautiful, but if you're lucky enough to have the Basilica of Assisi before your eyes. Comfortable parking. But the food is not always up to par. For those who pass in Assisi certainly will be the appearance of impact in healthy Umbrian cuisine. For an Umbrian who knows his own cuisine, local overvalued and average. Carfagna pecorino cheese on the plate with a particular flavour and too strong with some slices of pear from the side. Small meatballs a little too fat and stomacose, pieces of cake to the text in the norm with pieces of omelette with questionable taste and uncertain cooking, cold cuts and irrelevant, tasty pluck. Cost 20 Euro per starter. Macaroni or Sedanini cooking incredibly short with minced meat and three pieces of number porcini mushrooms. Side dish, grilled potato, very insipid. The lamb with the chops was passable but with pieces of fatty and nervous meat, such that of thin edible there was little. Quality Ossobuco. Coffee and drinks offered by the house. Total Price 44 Euro per head. Personal and not professional. Fast service. Despite the beautiful view, we will hardly go back.

Panoramic Location, under Assisi and a few km from Santa Maria Degli Angeli. Courteous and available owners, homemade and local cuisine 10 +, moderately priced. Recommended.

Very nice, great restaurant (all grilled), fantastic hosts, welcoming and friendly. The rooms are rustic but manicured, there is also a small pool. Breakfast The place is strategic x to go around Assisi, Spello Perugia and its surroundings. I have been there with the family twice and it is always a pleasure to return.

Sn 14 years that we come to this place… The owners are just fabulous. Cm on the other hand is the whole context! Warm, clean rooms with breathtaking views of the Basilica. Local food and traditional CN genuine products. Ideal place x all age.

Good food and good view on Assisi.

Well… Amazing view of The Papal Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi. The b&b not only looks like a resort, but is also surrounded by the typical Umbrian landscape! The cuisine is delicious, made with fresh local products! The owners and the employees are super nice, always willing to satisfy your needs! A very tidy and relaxing place! Very close to Assisi! I really recommend this place! I will come back for sure, and let me say :"as soon as possible"

October 2015, I my wife and three other couples stayed at this nice and quiet place with a spectacular view of the Basilica of San Francesco. Great hospitality and kindness from the owners and staff, good dinner every evening with typical local dishes and delicious grilled meat, delicious breakfast with homemade products, clean rooms and bathrooms.

Beautiful place and great food … never lets go … view of assisi.

The day September 3, 2013 I went to this beautiful place located at the foot of assisi with my wife and my daughter, we booked 2 days only unfortunately. (But we'll be back for sure an other time) The owners very hospitable, the food excellent, rooms clean and very quiet place very good quality and price.
