Hotel dirty, staff was incompetent, the only exception is the restaurant which is not managed from the hotel.

I stayed here because of a road traffic accident suffered the night before overnight. The room undoubtedly clean, pillows too soft and the mattress bottom. Pet friendly, we go down for dinner in the dining room of the restaurant, the waiter tells us that the dog is not a problem. A voice in the distance, as we are to accommodate, yells to the waiter that it is not possible and that the director does not want to. Disappointed, angry and still shockata from the left immediately, I go back to the room, I take the vest etc. And I'm leaving in the cold to look for a place to dine, with my partner and the dog. Noisy night, rooms not soundproof, you could hear the loud music coming from outside. We imagine that at breakfast, the dog is a problem then we notice a flyer in the room where you can have breakfast in the room-at the modest price of 15€ per person-just leave the flyer outside the door from the night before with the barred the boxes of what you want and is brought breakfast in your room at a desired time. 7:30 arrives, no one, I open the door and see that the flyer is still there. I call the front desk at 8:00 we get the breakfast. At the time of check-out, breakfast in the room offered to us, but it is not enough in my opinion to apologize to both of the handout will not be collected the evening before, for both of us, and stopped to dine in the structure warm with our dog.

Excellent hotel, staff very kind and attentive to the customer. Check-in in advance of three hours on our request, immediately accepted, despite the hotel being full to bursting x the carnival… two steps from the many restaurants and only a 10 minute walk you are in the centre and in the heart of the carnival…

Beautiful hotel just steps away from the promenade of Viareggio. Large parking area, swimming pool with a bar in which to enjoy fantastic cocktails. Good service, good restaurant. During my stay (7 nights), I appreciated the courtesy of the staff, led by the great Savior, the cleaning of the room (we were 3) and the speed of check in and check out. Highly recommended, I will be back soon.

It's a great place to stay. Modern, welcoming and with all the comforts. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

Nice hotel but showing signs of age and needs a refurb soon.

I stayed there in beginning of April. No Aircon at that time. The room was very hot. Tried to open the window. But it is facing the main road. So it was very noisy till morning. : (couldn't sleep all night. But the room actually good with clean bathroom. The food for dinner and bfast was also great.

Very comfortable Hotel to get to. With free private parking. Although full, possibility to park in the surrounding areas without any problems. Nice and comfortable room. A little Bit the bathroom although the shower is great. To improve the quality of the mattress. Good Breakfast. Overall a good structure although not at the Top of the 4 stars.

Two days spent halfway between insomnia and dissatisfaction. Arrived report a serious disservice of the shower, does not intervene no one for the entire stay. To The payment, before the remonstrances to reply a sterile "sorry. " Nightmarish Bed, double with ungrounded single mattresses that leave for The facts. The hotel itself is very nice, but the service was terrible, we felt unwelcome most of times and I am a silver accor member, couldnt imagine if I wasnt :p.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed. The hotel didn't want to open the AC although I've requested it. I paid for this room. It's not free. Damn this hotel.

I Travel a lot for work. And when I'm in Viareggio I'm always happy to sleep at the Mercure! Comfortable, nice, clean… And then the shower with the blue light is wonderfully enjoyable after a day's work!

Only thing that save the service woman who let us into the room and explained everything… customers abandoned to themselves. 12.00 euros for 2 vermentini accompanied by moscie chips… make it a smile! it doesn't cost anything… terrrible breakfast!

Negative experience. : As we were not customers of the hotel. They did not inform us that the weekend does not do outside service. He made us sit down but then we barely got 4 cappuccinos… else No. Tuttto was X's customers. Then we got up we approached the checkout x pay… and they offered the cappuccinos… among other things the milk they use is long-kept. … in 1 4-star hotel!

Value for money of the best. Modern Hotel, recent, breakfast abundant sweet and savory, rooms with spacious shower. The attached restaurant also has prices in the standard. Very nice staff.

Nice and helpful staff Very comfortable beds, quiet rooms and large bathrooms. The only flaw are the sinks, small and deep… In practice to wash your face you bathe!

I've been eating at the restaurant with friends. Good food and good cleanliness. Located 10/15 minutes walk from the beach is close to both the long sea of Viareggio as well as that of Camaiore. However the view of a canal inhabited by Nutria is not the best for a four star hotel.

They can't even make and serve coffee. Served in cold cup and a real sloe.

We visited the hotel during the low season in Winter. We enjoyed the stay, comfortable room and clean toilet, nice quiet hotel surroundings, close to seaside, but a bit far to get to Pisa from hotel (around 55 to 60 euro one way by taxi). Still we like the hotel and their friendly and helpful staff.

With free parking. Aesthetically cool structure. Average room but little insulated windows, and noisy air conditioners. Average quality breakfast.

I've stayed at Mercure Hotel Viareggio over the weekend of Nov. 2nd to attend the Lucca Comics event. Despite what I've read online prior to my arrival, I found the venue incredibly tidy and welcoming. The room was in near perfect state and the staff was greatly professional and friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay around Viareggio.

Parking outside but not guaranteed. Waiting for the room if you want to change it must be done inside a toilet. Breakfast Inconvenience with the room card. In short if you pay for a 4 * * * * you require a better service. Good Hotel Nice and comfortable rooms.

The rooms were a bit too small for the price but overall good. The breakfast buffet was not a big surprise.

The room was very small. Breakfast is OK, beach is 5 min. Walking distance. The pool is nothing incredible.

Nice hotel, staff do their best to help you but it is more like 3 stars than 4 stars hotel — The swimming pool is so small, no space for sunbath and you have to pay 2.50€ to get a towel. The hotel location is great and balcony's view is great but comparing to other Mercure hotels in other places, the rooms are small!

Room was pretty spacious. But cleanliness was relative and the shower was clogged so I had to shower really quick to avoid it from overflowing. Internet was also slow compared to other places I've been. I expected a lot more from a 4 star rated hotel.

The hotel is good. Nice rooms with a very good shower. Problem is that's in the boring part of Viareggio. Not much going on here…

Is the second year that we return and is a pleasant confirmation. Rooms very good and clean. Decent breakfast. Great location for the beach and the Boardwalk.

An ideal and convenient location to reach Viareggio Lido di Camaiore, while taking advantage of special bike!

Super breakfasts! Generous and unsatisfactory; the menu is interesting but the long repetitive. Waiting a little long as already seen from other reviews and although always courteous, sometimes inattentive!

Decent price, rooms ok vote so so, a little high. We talk about the ridiculous slowness restaurant over an hour for a starter and a second and a half-full room there is consoled with good food.

I recommend it to sleep and nothing else staff absolutely rude annoyed by prospective customers and restaurant that took me to the malaise I've been there a week. I was just there because we had already paid. The pool had the water green.

From two sides. On the one hand, unimpeachable structure: clean room, modernly furnished and beautifully maintained, not to say "elitist". On the other, to forget: breakfast pastries "stale" bad eggs, much variety (only one type of juice, fruit and yogurt) ;
understaffed (1 person only) by number and availability (the cappuccino you have to have it done at the adjoining bar and it was hot, we had no glasses and meats, but the staff has failed to remedy despite the request).

On the double fault anything: clean, decorated in modern style and with a nice bathroom.
What didn't work was the breakfast: brioche stale, disgusting omlette and staff not up to an almost empty room.

The hotel rooms are modern, clean and have a nice spacious bathroom. The staff are helpful and friendly though bar service during breakfast was a bit too slow considering the very few people in attendance.

Given that I've been several times at this hotel on business and that overall I found myself always discreetly. The last experience was nothing short of embarrassing. Booked with booking confirmation with the morning I arrived at nine in the evening at the hotel where in reception have informed me that they had no rooms available, as the hotel was without water, no phone etc. Pity that the parking lot was full and there were several customers in the lobby and bar. I think the least that a hotel can do in these cases is call guests must arrive and warn that unfortunately the room cannot be available regardless of the cause (but their cause has been certainly over booking). Total lack of seriousness and professionalism, and in addition to my request if they could help me to find me another hotel I was told they were without phone …
