We only ate in the restaurant. I think everyone in our group of 10 people generally liked the food, wine, service and prices. A couple of the dishes were not the best choices. The pork chop was a too plain.

Cozy room, indecipherable style, good the chopping board mixed with salami and cheese, suggestion, at the time of service an explanation on the products would have been perfect, excellent ravioli with stuffed with buttered, very good also the sweet, very good the Service. Just the value for money. 3 covered 1 Water 1 house wine (bottle), 2 cutting boards, 3 first, 3 Sweets 3 coffees: €97.

The owner is very kind and really made us feel welcome.
Very clean room and very nice bathroom.
Our room overlooked a delightful little square. If I go back to Camaiore I would happily help again at the Locanda Le nuns.

Terrible service! Started off well antipasti came reasonably quickly and were delicious. However we then waited approximately an hour for the main courses and it appeared everyone in the restaurant was subject to similar delays — one Italian couple left due to this wait. When our food arrived one dish was incorrect, we decided to keep it instead of enduring another long wait. In fairness the waiter was apologetic and said it was on the house. He claimed the dish brought was pork (saying it in Italian aswell) however we were fairly sure it was not. Possibly beef… All food was again delicious. Following this we were asked if we wanted dessert and were given menus. However again we were left waiting (30 mins) before someone came back to us. Safe to say we decided to just ask for the bill. Which we had to subsequently ask for 3 more times. As promised the mistaken main course was not included. At this stage I asked was there an issue in the kitchen because it had been so slow (we had assumed they were having problems). She said there was not and seemed surprised that we thought there was… again not a word in way of apology was offered despite out obvious disdain. I appreciate there was a language barrier but between our few words of Italian and their broken English, an attempt at some sort of apology or acknowledgment of the various issues would have at least sweetened the bitter taste left by this visit.

Yummy. Great prices and the menu is a list of haute cuisine dishes. Very nice room and very fine service. I recommend it to couples and friends for a pleasant and intimate evening.

A historic place, where you can comfortably sit on sofas and armchairs, in a nice atmosphere. Excellent truffle dinner with original dishes and expertly cooked, accompanied by a fairytale Bolgheri that has recommended the young owner, beautiful and competent. What more could you want? We will definitely be back.

We had a great dinner here for a family special occasion. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
