We were guests from 15 to 19 July for a short motorcycle holiday and the welcome from the first few minutes was really familiar and friendly.
The hotel turned out to be very nice, clean and both breakfast very plentiful and dinners turned out to be of excellent quality.
We thank the owners and employees for making us feel at home.
Obviously I recommend it to everyone.

Wonderful people and a great location.

15 years ago we stayed already in this hotel. Great! And now, June/july 2018, we stay for nine days. A great hotel, all very friendly people. Very clean and very tasteful renovated. The breakfast is very good and nice coffee. From the hotel the beautiful small old towns are in easy reach. A must is a day in Bagno Vignoni, the beneficial waters of Posta Marcucci. We Brenda and Henk feel home from home when we stay in hotel Due Cigni. Last but not least: MONTEPULCIANO. Such a great, beautiful place to be. You can wander around for hours. Have a nice drink, lunch or dinner and enjoy the wonders of the olden days. Thank you for your hospitality! Brenda and Henk Bolhuis Holland.

Recently renovated property, welcoming and very nice staff, bright, very clean room (beautiful and practical bathroom) and quiet.
Great morning breakfast, plentiful, home-cooked treats really make a difference.

Fantastic hotel with a great price point. My wife and I stayed here to visit the neighbouring hill towns. There is free street parking and breakfast. Some of staff seems to be family and they are a pleasure to meet.

Great hotel in which we stayed three nights in April with a Smartbox package. The room was very clean Great location and very nice and friendly owners. Excellent dinners, a special mention for Matthew and his fantastic desserts! We will definitely come back to you when we are in the area! Simonaeandrea.

We stayed one night and had a great time. The lady who runs it is very kind, helpful and nice. He suggested great places to dine and places to visit in the surrounding area as the building is in a fraction a few miles from Montepulciano. The building is a little dated but you can see that the owners keep us and are renovating it a bit at a time. Several common parts have already been renewed. Even in the room the furnishings and windows were old while the bathroom was brand new. Everywhere reigns order and cleanliness. Breakfast with a hearty buffet of sweet and salty food satisfies every need. If I go back to the area I would definitely stay.

Convenient location to reach by car all the villages of the surroundings, breakfast quite complete and rooms very clean, in our room there was also a large balcony. The main problem is the very poor soundproofing of the rooms, at the door closed you could hear the phone ringing in reception and the lady talking to the customers. A little bit of anxiety at breakfast when asked several times if we want more if everything is fine at a distance of a few minutes, an account is kindness, an account the pressing.

My wife and I booked with a smartbox for a 3 night stay, and we were super pleased, so much to stay an extra night. Family staff and very courteous, superb cuisine, spotless room like everything else. Thanks to Mrs. Simonetta for her sympathy, and to her son Matteo who is an excellent cook.

Helpful and efficient staff. Family run and extremely prepared in every field concerning this fantastic land. The smile and friendliness leave you that extra positivity to live your holiday with the utmost of thoughtlessness. Excellent cleanliness and care of the room. Compared to many four stars I would say that there is no comparison, decidedly superior. Breakfast varied and complete. Our living compliments. Roberto.

Very nice and friendly hotel. We stay here everytime when we visit the neighburhood. We will definatelly come back!

We came here a few years ago. I have the best memory ever of this gorgeous place. The food was delicious. Hearing one of the son baking delicious cakes early in the morning with the subsequent coffee smell was fantastic. One of the best places in that area. You would be mad not to stop there. When I was a kid we used to stay in a family hotel like this. And I realise these days how this is lacking in a world of modernised all similar hotels. Please keep going. My aim is to come back one day.

The great service and new, clean rooms make up for the not so great location (when visiting Montepulciano)
