Overpriced and OverratedQuite simply, if you have the money to stay here, go someplace else. For €300/night we got the following (in list form) :The room: — Tired décor, cheap furnishings and an uncomfortable mattress — A shower that was incapable of holding a temperature, ping ponging from scalding to freezing — Walls so thin we could hear guests walking upstairs every time they moved and children screaming the room next door — ONE “complimentary” bottle of water on our first day, never replenished — No tea or coffee making facilities anywhere — Wi-Fi so slow it took over 30 seconds for a basic web page to loadThe “resort”: — This in now way qualifies as a resort of any kind. Communal space consists of one lawn with five tables and a pool with deck chairs. Both infested with mosquitoes. — Despite staying at a vineyard there are no tours or tastings offered — Breakfast consists of 12 kinds of cake, pre-packaged supermarket meat and cheese, sliced fruit, and sad, soulless bread. I must say, coffee was good but they charge you €4/cup. — Evening meal restaurant is overpriced with mediocre food I could go on about how the staff were absent, offering no insight into the local area, or explain how painful it was to eat breakfast with children darting back and forth each morning using a rainbow colored Slinky as a lasso to pillage the “dessert table”, but I won’t. If we'd have paid €150/night it would have been great but it's a rip-off at €300. Do yourself a favor and get your money’s worth at a quality hotel (like Castello La Leccia) that values and appreciates it's guests.
