Nice hotel for a stay (1 to 2 nights) but not for more (I stay there 9 days) and am currently…
Great location, beautiful spa and hearty breakfast buffet… Here's to the good points… now the bad, very bad:-Home cold-no presentation or visit of the hotel.
-Restaurants: On the site they boast 2 restaurants and the pool bar but in fact there is only the gourmet restaurant and the pool bar, the other (simpler) being closed. So when you arrive at night, the staff sends you to the gastro or room service. The service of the room service as well as that of the pool bar is long, very long and if you are lucky you will have what you ordered! Prices are exorbitant in relation to the service. EX: Salad is said to be mixed (salad, cucumber, carrots and other choices of vegetables, salmon) with just salad and 2 small bits of salmon for €18, you order a filet of beef and you have lamb cotellettes… that you eat because you do not want To wait again 45mn in room service, 2 salads, 1 bottle of wine and 1 mojito… 45mn for the meal and the bottle, 45mn more for the Mojito… long live the aperitif in front of the sunset… too late…
The staff does not really know the map or the wines except theirs… overpriced!
Ok They apologize and offer you the meal but it is not the level of a 5 stars (neither the quality nor the price) and it is the scam not to advertise when booking that there is only the gourmet restaurant for the evening.
Tip that nobody told us of course, order in room service of the dishes of the pool bar (which closes at 7:30 pm even if you are indicated 20h) provided you have in mind all the maps…
From Sunday (or 1 week), the general manager was there and strangely everything changed, service, friendliness, services and a map of dishes worthy of the name… like what is possible!
Too bad as the hotel is beautiful but the service away from a 5 star.
