Good stay in totality
-really great food even if the hand of the two different chefs "feels"
-cozy rooms overlooking San Gimignano
— a large pool
— Quiet place
-Good welcome service
-Absolute kindness
The negative things I found:
-given the anti-covid provisions, you have to measure the temperature to each customer who comes, every time (never done)
— Service to tables very very very slow.
-Breakfast (only this) cause covid served at the tables, (I fully agree) but the (very good) cut doughnuts thinner than a ham are not good also because they always arrived crumbled…
Overall, however, I would have been fine again.

I stayed at Villa Ducci after I had been cancelled booking at another property.
Kindness and professionalism sets them apart.
Everything is gorgeous, from the rooms to the restaurant, the pool and all the hotel staff
We dined on the terrace with spectacular views of San Gimignano.
We will definitely return to a next tour of Tuscany in the future and we strongly recommend it.

We were guests at this hotel and I can say that everything is gorgeous. Clean, reserved, welcoming the staff prepared and very nice. Very good food both in the palate and as a presentation … lovely place throughout for the nature that surrounds it both for the historic structure then the pool is something wonderful. Then eating watching san gimignano is like stepping into a painting. Good. And soon we'll be back I recommend it! hug sandra and joseph.

It’s an incredible hotel in a beautiful location. It also has a good pool. Although the menu in the restaurant is not extensive, the quality of the food is very good. They also have a very good selection of wines from the region. The location is perfect to visit the surrounding towns and a must is the town of San Gimignano. It is beautiful.

The villa is very nicely located and you have a great view of San Gimignano from the dining room and from our room. It is rather rural and as far as San Gimignano it is a decent walk (unfortunately partly without walkway).
Our room was rather small, audible and did not deserve the expression Superior. Only the terrace of the room was special.
The climate situation did its duty, but under permanent rattlesnakenoise. The bathroom urgently needs to be renovated, because here the tooth of time has gnawed extremely and it already looks very borderline.
Breakfast is very Italian in a negative sense. Very small selection, the same every day, only pre-packaged jams, 4 types of cold cuts, only white bread or baguette and the juices are instant juices.
We had an evening in the hotel restaurant. The food itself was good in taste, but the portions were rather small and expensive again. But the hardest part was 4€! Cutlery per person. We haven't paid that much in any other restaurant (usually 1, 5 — 2€). Annoying was to which this from time to time pulled an unpleasant smell over the terrace (drain).
The car park is free of charge and will be closed in the evening. To unload the suitcases you can drive directly in front of the villa.

Great stay. Great location near San Gimignano which is about 2 km away. You have to go in the car but it only takes 2 min. Away from the tourist chaos of the area and in a quiet place where only crickets are heard. I enjoyed the pool. Rooms quite large. You eat great and the prices are average of the place. It's not worth moving for dinner. Very friendly staff. In short, I'll be back.

Beautiful hotel with a view of the towers of SanGimignano, great welcome, beautiful garden with pool, we spent a wonderful week, with a view of the vineyards of beautiful Tuscany.

Villa Ducci’s “magic” is the exceptional customer service their entire staff provides enthusiastically! This genuine and sincere …level of service from every member of their staff ties everything together, and makes the stay not only great, but memorable as well. From the moment we checked in, they treated us like we were family. A member of their staff (Elisa) personally gave us a tour of their grounds, and the amenities their hotel provides, including everything within our room. We asked if there was a possibility to have a small refrigerator placed in our room, and they provided it without hesitation, and installed it while we were out! If you want to start your Tuscan vacation with the best in hospitality, I encourage you to come to Villa Ducci, you will not be disappointed.

A beautiful postcard, one of a kind overlooking San Gimignano. The Restaurant has a varied menu, complete with traditional dishes and some pleasant variations, excellent also Sweets, courteous and prepared staff. Try it.

An amazing place. In the countryside but a short walk from the city of San Gimignano. In the quiet, pampered, served and revered as in a few places. Truly a place to choose with your eyes closed for a holiday in San Gimignano!

Rural House in a spectacular setting in Tuscany. The breakfast can be improved, the restaurant is nice and the rooms could be a little more cozy, more drawers for clothes, bathroom with places to leave the toilet…

Plus: Good Breakfast with very good Local Sausage, delicious Croissants, Fruits and good Cappuccino, prepared with a proper Italian Coffee Machine and brought to the Table. From the breakfast room terrace and some Rooms perfect Views of San Gimignano, it's almost no better! The Swimming Pool is large and well maintained, the Loungers comfortable and Sunroof equipped. There are also Umbrellas. Very nice Ambience for the End of the Day By The pool The air Conditioning in the Room works very well.
The Staff at the Reception were extremely friendly and nice.
You can park for free on the Premises, the Gate is closed from 10 o 'clock, so you have at least a certain Amount of security at night.
Minus: Just Toast And the usual White bread for Breakfast.
The (Evening) Restaurant of the Property is not so highly recommended even in terms of the quite high Price. The ordered Chicken with Vegetables was withered and barely edible, the sliced Beef Strips completely fried through and taste nothing Special.
Here you get better Food in an external Restaurant for the same Money. Understanding with Waiters difficult when you can't speak more than the usual Chunks Italian, as they hardly understand English or German.
At my Menu he had forgotten to bring the Dessert and it was very difficult for him to understand what the Problem was.

Two kilometres from San Gimignano (Old Town). The room was very clean Beautiful view of the Tuscan hills. Decent breakfast in the large room with beautiful view. Friendly staff. There is an outdoor swimming pool for the summer time.

Amazing view of the Tuscan countryside, rooms were a bit small but the bathroom was great. Service was good and the restaurant is amazing. Definitely a good place to stay.

Wonderful authentic Italian villa with a steady good service and friendly local employees. Having meals and enjoying a wonderful view on medieval San Gimignano and the hilly and charming Tuscany. I can very much recommend Villa Ducci! (Visit end of September 2015, five nights with my family).
