We really enjoyed our holiday. It is a beautiful farm with lovely walks. We found it extremely relaxing and our hosts were very friendly too — we had a great day with Francesco baking bread which the whole family enjoyed. Lovely towns to visit close by too.

The place gives you the apportunity the relax and enjoy the life in Tuscany where fauna and flora comes together. Learing how to cook bread, pizza and pasta or learing about the farm life or wildlife. Or Just enjoying the view of the golden hills. Pure relaxing. Loved it. Special thanks to the hosts who made are stay unforgettable.

The farm is absolutely beautiful! I wasn't prepared for my first view out of our bedroom window our first morning. Nothing short of breathtaking! The apartment is huge, rustic, and comfortable. If you want an authentic Tuscan country experience this is the place!

I visited in July 2015 and this farm changed my life! It was such a relaxing place. The staff were MORE than accommodating often suggesting activities and local eateries. The bread making classes with Francesco, horseback riding with Alice, and walking the beautiful trails are just a few activities that are offered. I mustn't forget to mention the swimming pools! Overall, this is just an amazing place to stay!

We had little idea what to expect when we first pulled up to Barbialla Nuova. I'll admit that we had been less than thorough in our research, but we were surprised to find a young (completely fluent in English! ) couple in charge. We were also surprised to find out that we couldn't walk to our apartment, but had to drive more than a kilometer down a dusty road to get to the house. And thank goodness. Coming from the city, we dream about open spaces, rolling hills, silence, nature! Barbialla was able to offer just that, plus a touch of polish. The house, Brentina, was in the midst of the woods but lovingly cared for. The apartment was effortlessly stylish and pleasantly rustic. No frills and no fuss. Needless to say, we've been back more than once since then. When you add up simplicity, gorgeous nature and a happy family, you get one excellent — and real — vacation.
