Hotel Le Volpaie is a beautiful, convenient base for exploring Tuscany. Set just 20 minutes’ drive from San Gimignano and Volterra the hotel has its own gardens and pool. Relax by Le Volpaie’s pool with a cocktail or sit out on the terrace. The property is located in the village of Castel San Gimignano. Bikes are available on site, allowing you to explore the surrounding area with ease. Family-run, Hotel Le Volpaie has just 15 rooms, located in the main building and in the annexe, situated in the gardens. All have modern facilities such as LCD satellite television and free Wi-Fi access and some have their own balconies which enjoy exceptional views of the Tuscan hills. Hotel Le Volpaie can organise city tours, wine-tasting trips, horse-riding excurions and even cooking lessons on request. The coast is just an hour away by car, as are many of Tuscany’s most important sights.

➜ Despite the current Corona situation, Anna and Lucca have a great handle on their hotel and the entire complex. It's great how the two of them, despite the many editions, always manage to ensure that
all guests very satisfied and enthusiastic to enjoy the atmosphere in the hotel and in the garden and pool.
We were there in July and enjoyed it so much, although at that time there were hardly any guests.
Due to the situation in many countries, we decided at short notice to enjoy this wonderful hospitality again at the end of August.
It was wonderful we are very grateful to Anna and Lucca that we were able to experience the beautiful Tuscany again from the hotel!
➜ We spent 5 days here and had a great time. Anna and Luca are exquisite, very kind and helpful people. The hotel is kept really well and very clean! not only in ordinary cleaning but also specific in this period of Covid (disinfect chairs, tables, loungers, pool ladder and everything). The property is conveniently located to reach various destinations: 20 minutes from Volterra, San Gimignano and Colle Val d'Elsa, 45 minutes from Siena and Monteriggioni.
They are also organized for breakfast also for intolerances, both with packaged products, mainly, but Mrs. Anna, who makes all the cakes, has prepared a couple of cakes also "for me" that are intolerant to gluten. Delicious! The limoncello made by Luca is also great!
Anna and Luke can and MUST be proud of their work and their sacrifices! We felt at home, and this, at least for us, is a fundamental thing when we are on vacation.

Great family run hotel. Located near the beautiful Tuscan villages. Owners very kind and helpful. Excellent cleaning well taken care of both indoors and outdoors including pool area. Top breakfast buffet with a wide choice of homemade cakes … highly recommended.
