Borgo Rapale

The Best possible place to get rest. Also bonus thing — Tomaso, the men who took us to Siena for Palio and guide us with plenty of interesting information about race and all around stuff — awesome Man with great knowledge (many thanks for that).

We stayed at Rapale Agriturismo Borgo with three families (10 people total), and our experience was absolutely phenomenal! 🌿
Luca was an incredible host, warm, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The property itself is stunning; the photos truly don’t do it justice. From the breathtaking views to the peaceful surroundings, it’s the perfect Tuscan getaway.
The pool was perfect for the kids, and there were plenty of short hikes around the property for families to enjoy. The location is ideal, perfectly situated between Siena and Arezzo, making day trips to the surrounding cities and villages super convenient.
The grounds are beautifully maintained, extremely family-friendly, and full of authentic Tuscan charm. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend Rapale Agriturismo Borgo to anyone looking for an unforgettable Tuscan experience!

Where do I start… we booked the borgo so that our family of 4 (2 kids) and our 2 friends could all stay together and celebrate our symbolic elopement. Luca was the most amazing host. We had the 3 bedroom unit and the set up was perfect. The unit itself was excellent and had everything we needed. The pool was a perfect way to cool down. Our daughter loved the butterflies, it was like a natural butterfly museum walking to the pool. Kitchen was well equipped, they provided salt and olive oil, which was a nice touch.
Luca went above and beyond on our wedding day, we had the Moma cook us a meal and Luca set up a lovely place for our dinner overlooking the Tuscan hills.
Rapale was a magical spot. We’ve been to Tuscany a few times and never stayed in a village where everywhere you looked it felt magical.
Then, we got a flat tire. Lucas neighbour and Luca helped us and somehow arranged for someone in Ambra to stay after hours and fix the tire, then Luca popped it back on for us and viola, we were back in business! Talk about hospitality!
We were there during heat wave. It was up to 38 degrees! and we had no air conditioning. The one night was uncomfortably warm, but the other nights were lovely with breeze. So, if you are going when it’s 38 or warmer consider a unit with air conditioning.
We walked/jogged over to Sonja a couple times in the mornings, really pretty spot. Also hiked down to a delicious coffee spot in the tiny village down the hill, best coffee of the trip.

Beautiful (and remote) location. The host was extremely helpful and friendly, he assisted us a lot when we had issues with car rental (you do need a car if staying here, no public transportation). Rooms were nice, but noise from the other apartments do travel and it can be pretty warm indoors. All in all a great stay, and I would highly recommend it.

Wow, was this stay perfect! My wife and I were celebrating our twenty-fifth anniversary, and we were joined by another couple. During our three-week tour of Italy, we stayed in Venice, Florence, Cinque Terre, Sorrento, and here in Tuscany. Our stay here was the highlight! Lucca, Luccia, Gisele, and Fortunato were perfect hosts — gracious, helpful, and very easy to work with before and during our stay. The apartment was spacious and had all amenities. The grounds, pool, and nearby area in Rapale were heavenly. The location was within one hour of pretty much everything in Tuscany. And the highlight of highlights was our cooking class with Mamma!

My husband and I visited Italy over 14 years ago and to this day we still talk about/ recommend the Borgo. The location is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing and invigorating. The owners are two of the most beautiful people I've met and they continue to hold a special place in my heart. I highly recommend.
