I spent two nights in this attractive villa at the bottom of the Fiesole hill. My room was large and clean, and had a nice view of the garden. The owner was helpful. When — because of the rain — I struggled to get a taxi for the airport, she offered to ask her daughter to drive me. Fortunately, I did find a cab eventually, but I appreciated the gesture. Highly recommended.

We stayed in Agatha which was a large and beautiful room. The beds are the comfiest I have stayed in. A warm welcome,
Breakfast adequate and the ability to buy bus tickets very useful. There are a couple of local restaurants too. It is a quiet residential area and is a good 20 or more minutes into town depending on traffic and bus. If you want to be in the thick of it this isn’t for you. But if you want peace at the end of a days site seeing then it’s perfect.

Spent the holidays a week here in this magnificent location truly magnificent place.

Easy to find family run business with a fascinating history. They export all over the world so you may have experienced their wines already.

We have stayed here a couple of times and we have loved every minute. Massimo and Claudia (and their children and dog) are fabulous hosts. We continue to recommend Poggio Salvi to people who plan on visiting Tuscany. It is a perfect location for visiting the many Tuscan towns. In our last visit I celebrated my birthday in Tuscany and on that day when we returned to Poggio Massimo and Claudia had cake and wine.
For us:). Doesn’t get much better than that!

Beautiful place immersed in the Tuscan countryside, friendly and helpful owners, highly recommended.

Great experience. The hotel is strategic for visiting Siena and nearby towns. They have a large secure parking lot. Breakfast was very good although I would have preferred that there had also been eggs. The bar small but well stocked. I've seen many families and couples like us. The price of the room for the services offered was right. The room was furnished in a very simple but very clean way, staff at the reception prepared and reserved.

Great, for car travelers brings tufi is 5 minutes. Well connected, although walking in 25 minutes you are downtown, but the climb is tiring. There are also buses next to the hotel door, which are good for those who want to enjoy it by day while in the evening they stop quite early around 9pm. Simple, clean and very tidy room furniture. The buffet breakfast is very good, perhaps a little bit the space of the room. Staff at the reception impeccable.

Fantastic place to stay and not to far from the centre of Florence. Host was unbelievably kind and helpful! We stayed in the Family room which was more than spacious enough for the four of us, and the kitchenette was handy if you didn’t fancy eating out. The pool area is very peaceful and the pool is big enough for an early swim and to have fun with the kids. Genuinely can’t think of anything negative to say about the place, and I will be returning early next year.

Very nice place and we were very well received quiet place and rest in the immediate vicinity of the center of Florence.

It's a completely different experience and impression. We would never have got to this Villa, not seen, as he lived some Italians. The Villa's location is very convenient, close to downtown, but away from the noise. Hospitable hosts, large rooms. But we must be prepared that the Villa is old, there may be problems with the hot water and heating. The equipment of the bathrooms is also old, authentic brass faucets and non-removable shower head. Nice and cute, but uncomfortable. Wifi was also weak.

Quiet place and top cleaning. Strategic location, you will rest well at night and in the daytime you reach the center in very little. Breakfast for wonderful coeliacs, very nice and nice owners!

Nice reception of Roberto and Maria in typical Villa of Florence.
