Beautiful hotel! The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the rooms were immaculate and just stunning! Beds were extremely comfy, and the hotel is in such a great location, short walk/ride to the walls, and in a quiet space as well. Would recommend to anyone!

Absolutely charming hotel, just like the owners! It really feels like home:-) Excellent breakfast, very comfortable rooms and the center of Lucca is not so far on foot.
It is located on the roadside but honestly it did not bother me at all!

What a fantastic B&B in Lucca. I would highly recommend this place. 5 out of 5! I found the location just right with it being a 10-minute walk to the walls of old Lucca. The walk into Old Lucca is very easy with some great places to stop for coffee and cakes and or ice cream! The B&B itself was beautiful. Very nicely decorated and very comfortable with plenty of free parking on site. The staff were just brilliant. Before I arrived I exchanged a few emails with Anna, who was really helpful with my queries. Upon arrival, we were met by Anna and Leo, who simply could not be more helpful. A really great start to our stay — so welcoming. Throughout our stay, Anna helped us with a few things — somewhere to eat which was the best food we had over the weekend — Trattoria Da Giulio and a wine tour which was just brilliant! Breakfast was good also — very typical continental style buffet which was just right. Highly recommend this place and we will be back — we can't fault it!

Perfect hotel, 10 minute walk away from the citadel, perfect bedroom, nice receptionist.

Very nice room, the bathroom is just as much. Very good breakfast, with cream and chocolate hot pastries, hot drinks on request and slices of cake. Also available savory food for breakfast, although I did not use it.

A really great little hotel. Staff were excellent, the beds SO comfortable and the rooms perfect. Even the shower worked properly! Short walk from the centre of Lucca, just 10 minutes, so very convenient. Will go back for sure.

We have just completed a wonderful short break in Lucca, Italy, made all the more special by our stay at the Piccolo Ritz. The staff at the hotel could not have tried harder with their informal, friendly and attentive service, nothing was too much trouble. Room cleaning was daily with fresh towels, our room was clean and nicely decorated just the rest of the hotel. This hotel is truly delightful with a sun terrace and the spa room with jacuzzi is a little gem. The hotel is a short walk (10 mins) from the Lucca and you enter the city by the main bus depot which is great for trips to Pisa or Florence. We truly did not want to come home — Grazie.

I confirm absolutely all the enthusiastic reviews written by people who have chosen the Piccolo RItz to stay in Lucca: a marvel!
The art nouveau villa restored stands out immediately for the intense blue of the outside walls: great! Guarded parking, a small garden, terrace and small shed with bikes for hire are the first details received, immediately followed by the entrance with 2 delicious white wicker chairs and a vase with wonderful flowering cabbages: details that show care, love and passion.
Inside the walls are painted in pastel colours, both in the common areas and in the rooms and in particular impressed us the ochre-coloured ceiling with the glitter of the breakfast room; lift to the upper floors, small relaxation area with Jacuzzi for 2, showers Chromo-therapy and herbal tea corner which is accessed upon reservation at Reception (but not tried for lack of time unfortunately).
The rooms are spectacular: furnished with antiques and classy in which attention to detail does not neglect anything (bar fridge and safe in the closet, large flat-screen TV Led, etc) ; high beds, mattresses and pillows, sound-proofed to a heavenly sleep. Note on the toilet with modern décor, fully equipped complimentary toiletries and a spectacular shower: a dream!

We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff couldn't be more friendly! We travelled with our 7-month old baby, last November… they provided the most comfortable cot for our daughter, the cleanest sheets, everything was impecable! The suggestions they gave us as to restaurants (By the way, the restaurant they recommended was the best in Italy! ), what to do and what to see were wonderful! A home away from home! I highly recommend this hotel. Price of a 3-star hotel, service of a 5-star hotel. Thank you for making our stay sooo wonderful!
