Great location, right in the center, inside the walls. Parking for loading and unloading. A little vintage. Breakfast, some dishes are paid apart.

I only know one room on the top floor, never seen a room so ugly extremely old without window, plus it was too expensive. I received for the same price in other hotels in the area fabulous rooms…

A historic hotel within the walls. A jump into the past that deserves a break. If I had to find a neo some locals would need renovation see for example the breakfast room with carpet from Sistituire…

If you want to visit Grosseto can not find better. Right in the centre at reasonable prices.

Nice old style hotel, a little to be renewed to get rid of that decadent flavor, but it is right in the center of the city. You can come here if you don't want to drive after tasted lot of local wines (so good! ). You can park just out of the walls for few euros for all the night.

Hotel created in an old building, very cared for furnishings with antique style, comfortable rooms with air conditioning, TV, USB sockets, cozy bathroom.

Grand Hotel Bastiani in Grosseto has class! A true Grand Hotel with an always very friendly and helpful staff. Magnificent decorated rooms where every item of the furniture, the wallpapers, the heavy curtains, the wooden window shutters can tell a story, but everything is well clean and in finest condition. Situated right in the centre of Grosseto, only a few steps away from the cathedral and the beautiful old part of the city it's the perfect place to stay. Great breakfast, fresh fruit, cereals and of course excellent coffee. Parking just around the corner, same as a great variety of little shops and the finest restaurants.

This is something from the begining of the last century. Walls covered in cloth. Total silence. Clean baths with bidee, huge bed, great break-fast. Great value for money!

Perfect location, you can come to the entrance of the hotel with your car and they will take it to the garage. The price for this service is 25€ per night. The hotel itself it's ok, the common areas are good, the moquette has to be replaced as soon as possible. Rooms are outdated with very old furniture (keept in optimal condition). The bed was a little hard. Wifi should be available everywhere but in fact is not. The reception staff is friendly. Breakfast is not very good, horrible coffee.

The years pass but I can never forget the "Grand Hotel Bastiani", had become a second family of mine; there was always the room that magically became the mini-suite at the usual cost : in one of these also spent the night my Mrs. Nicla and my Daughter Elena on the occasion of the opening of the Theatre (wonderful concert) ; who would have imagined that it would then become the seat of the Costa Concordia debates. Air conditioning than with all rooms full not conditioned us nothing. Light in the hallway of the nonexistent plan 4, staff friendly and helpful even if fatigued and tired mentally. Large well appointed rooms, but in my opinion this is not the way to handle the 4 stars best of Grosseto.

Very bad. Shower discharging bad. Kitchen taps change. A socket for charging mobile phones. Air conditioning is almost absent.

Nice … we whisk before just enter city walls … from outside is very nice and the rooms can be improved … hopefully the renovate soon because I really worth … Sin is missing a free Wi-Fi internet (now they give it for free also bars and restaurants), and pay tv.
