Fantastic quiet spot, amazing views and full of tranquility. We stayed here 4 days in July and we loved it. The place with the sunroof on the upper level with its panoramic view and quiet and relaxing atmosphere was awesome. The pool was spectacular and the hosts were more than great and helpful! When you walk to Pari through the woods you can see everything from deer to foxes. Thanks again to the hosts Susanna and Francesco!

We stayed here the first year it opened and we loved loved it! The hosts were great, the views are spectacular and the pool, although shared, has amazing views! The hill top town of Pari had good restaurants and we loved our stay! We will return one day x.

Incredible piece of paradise on a high hill with a stunning view.

Date of Stay — June 25th. Planned to stay a week but we had to leave. See photos. As of this post date if you value your family’s health please read on. We arrived at 14:00 and walked into our room to a very strong musty/moldy smell. The room was very humid but we assumed that once the air conditioner was turned on it would be better. By 14:30 the smell had still not dissipated so we opened the windows and doors and went outside. At 18:30 we went back to the room and the smell was still very prominent. We left the window open, locked the door and went to get groceries for our week stay. When we arrived back at 19:45 the door would not unlock. We went to get the owner and she also could not unlock the door. Fortunately the screen was not locked so we were able to climb through the window and this was the only was that we were able to access the room. Not a long term solution but we rolled with the punches. By 20:45 two people had come to fix the door to no avail. We were sitting outside and closed the screen on the window so mosquitoes would not get in. At 21:00 we went to open the screen and it was stuck. We tried to open it for 20 minutes until we all had bloody knuckles. Again we called the owner because now we had no way into the room. She tried to open it and then left saying it hurt her hands (? ). Eventually our neighbors helped us pry it open. At 22:15 we opened the pull out sofa and were greeted by a very dirty mattress cover.

Poggio alla Rocca boasts an astonishing view, great quiet and the kindest hosts. The pool's to die for and there are great restaurants in the nearby towns. A great base from which to explore Tuscany, with Sienna at 30 km and the sea at 50.

In montacuto seek the resort "poggio alla rocca" (the owners are Delia and susanna). Wandering through rural Tuscany, still untouched by the noisy hordes of tourists going up a small road coming out of the village of Pari and forwarded through the hills, my wife and I are intrigued with a wooden sign that pointed to a dirt road, on the sign it said "Poggio alla Rocca. And enough; It was not specified what he meant the designation, a cottage? a local producer? or just a viewpoint? This Tuscany here is really remote, quiet, and still retains that mystical atmosphere of the places hold over time.
Crossed a forest of Oaks, a ruin and passed a cottage as many (attention is not here that you must stop), we arrived at the end of the dirt road and saw, on the right side, past a gate overlooking the Valley, the smoke rising from a chimney, the shingles of a roof and behind the stunning red sunset. We don't have time to ask ourselves if it was a private house or a cottage that the gate opens as if by magic and appears. Francis! and behind Francesco our eyes opens heaven, cuz you got here, we really thought the Eden exists and is called POGGIO ALLA ROCCA, and for us who live in Rome, as it is only 2 and a half hours from chaos.
